Magic Bands - how does your info get onto your band?

I am not finished with all of my planning, such as ADRs and park passes, but our resorts are booked.
Can I still order my magic band now? How will the later information be added to my magic band?

Nothing is stored directly on a MagicBand. Everything is linked together using MDE. If your room reservation is linked to MDE, you can order MagicBands at anytime.

You attach the magic band to your MDE account and info is instantly linked.

Yes, think of the Magic Band as "just a number". If your band is number 12345, it is just a link back to your MDE (basically, your account).

You can have many magic bands and or cards, and they will all work as they are all linked back to your account. Buy a new band in the parks (like a Star Wars or Vera Bradley special), and it can be linked instantly.

Not so much.
Your MB has as much information physically on it as your Debit card does. Which is none whatsoever.
Your debit card has a chip that allows the machine it's being used with to access the data in your bank account. In the case of the MB, they scanner reads the data in your My Disney Experience account.

I just selected ours for our group, and it asks you if you are ready to proceed to checkout, then you pay
