Magic bands and DVC renter

Hello. I am very excited. My husband and I have just signed our contract to rent points from a DVC owner for a 2 bedroom villa at the Beach Club for our trip in December. We have never rented points before and I'm hoping someone can tell me how (or if) we can link our magic bands to our reservations since we are renters and not dvc owners. I've done some research and I'm pretty sure we are going to get our tickets through Undercover Tourist.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We are renting a 2 BR in November. I'm definitely not an expert on this, but can tell you what I have done so far. Do you have the reservation number for your December stay? You can link that on your My Disney Experience account just like you would any other Disney resort stay. Once you link that reservation number you will be able to choose the colors for your magic bands, etc. They won't arrive until closer to your trip. A few weeks early or maybe a month.

The last time I rented, Magic Bands were new and I was part of the test period. As far as I could tell, everything worked just like it would for any other reservation.

I always purchase Undercover Tourist park tickets also. Haven't ordered them yet, but plan to link those to MDE when they arrive so we will be all set for FP+ at 60 days out.

If you are going to purchase tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I wouldn't link those just to keep things simple and avoid any potential problems.

MDE/MB is used the same weather you rent from Disney, a DVC owner, or even if you are the DVC owner.

If the room reservation doesn't show up in your MDE account, just add it and your tickets.
