Magic Band customization

This is a trivial thing to ask, but I am having a dilemma trying to customize my magic bands! We have 3 different sets because we are staying at Art of Animation, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Boardwalk Villas. Our party consists of me 45, DH 38, DD 4 for all three. My brother 36, and his son 6, will stay with us at AKL. None of them care what I do with the bands, but I am curious as to how others handle this. What names do you use? I know we will use them in the future, and want them to be flexible. Do you make each set the same for each person or do you use favorite characters? I am just curious!

I usually put our names on them and choose a favorite color. I'm wild and crazy that way.

Lol, that did occur to me, but not sure I want my 4 and 6 year olds' names on their bands. It would make things a lot easier!

I put our names on the bands just because in the future if I use the bands I will be sure to know which is which and not try to figure out if I put Minnie on my band and Goofy on the other band or vice-versa.

Your names are on the under side of the band so not everyone can see your children's name

The names are written in small letters on the inside of the band. There really isn't a child safety issue since you can't see the names at all unless you take the band off and look for it.

The names are small and on the inside. Strangers can't see them and call your children by name. (Assuming that's the reason for not being sure about putting their names.)

But yeah, this is not a situation where I would worry about personal information.

That was my issue, I knew I would never remember who was who, lol. That makes me feel better knowing the names are not so visible.

The names on the bands default to the first name only, but you can use nicknames instead if you want to. Some people use nicknames because it is fun to do.
