Madame Leota to Change??? Oh No!

This is an outrage... what arrogance! Should we not go to see the film so it doesn't become a hit????

Yesterday on The Wayne Brady show she was talking about that. Hopefully they decide not to change it.

This would be an abomination!!!!! Did I spell that right??? Anyway, it would be horrible!!! HM is one of our favorite rides. Myself, DS7 and DGM (is that right for Grandma???!!!) were planning to see HM in theaters this weekend. DGM and I know the truth about our plans to go to WDW in January--DS doesn't. So going to see HM would be his "fix" and our trigger to get even MORE excited (if that's possible) about the trip. I looked on snopes.com to see if they had any info--hoping this was just a prank or someone had wrong info. I REALLY hope this isn't true!!

Sorry to disappoint you, but I heard her say it yesterday on Wayne's show. Doesn't seem like a prank to me. I would think that Jennifer of all people should know what she was talking about, even if she did seem a little out there.

I got this information from someone who knows quite a bit about this:

"Rumor at this point. It started when she claimed in TV Guide a few months ago that if the movie was a hit they were going to replace Leota with her. She also said a lot of other stuff that has since been proven wrong.

Don and Rob don't have any designs on changing the ride to fit the movie. They're both huge fans like the rest of us.

Can you even *imagine* the fuss the fans would make over something like that?"

I mean no disrespect to Jennifer. I don't know anything about her actually. Never even seen anything with her in it ( I don't think). But HM is a constant. And even though there may be some "updates" (like the added tombstones, etc), actually changing something that's a staple is just wrong. I guess I'm just resistive to some changes!!!!

Eddie Murphy alone makes me not want to see any of his movies, but do you really think Disney would listen to its guests who wish to preserve Madam Leota as she is now?
