Does anyone know where I can buy Mad Hatter tea that is served at Victoria and Alberts? I am trying to find it in the US without being in Disney! (not that I would mind being in Disney right now!)

If you have a receipt from any Disney shop you can call and ask about purchasing it by phone. I bought a Mad Hatter Tea Gift set @Downtown Disney. Came with several Mad Hatter teas and teacups/saucers. My DSIL is hooked on this tea, too.

Has been my favorite for afternoon tea at the GF for years and years.

You may try calling the Garden View Tea Room (at the GF) directly; they sell it in canisters there and could probably arrange to have it shipped to you.

Thanks! I was not sure they would ship! I will try in the morning. It must taste better if it comes directly from there, right? I found the phone number for GF, but not the tea place. Anyone with a number for one of these places?

Disney Mail Order does not ship any food. And if you make a purchase at WDW they will not ship any food that is part of the purchase.

Your only possibility would be for someone to purchase it and personally ship it to you.

You can get it on Amazon but it costs about double what it does to buy in Disney World. It comes in a stacked tin with two other teas. They are all good but Mad hatter is the best. Its a peach tea. Maybe you could find something similar at a local store.

I saw that stacked tin set on Amazon but did not identify any as Mad Hatter tea, just the set as "Mad Hatter Tea Party". Is one of the teas definately Mad Hatter? I am willing to spend the $$ if it is!

Found!!! Just wanted to follow up. I found a card that Sharon at V& A must have given me, that I forgot I had... Must have been the wine pairing:rotfl2:
Anyway, she had written on it Tealeaves.com .... Guess what they have???? Mad Hatter tea loose leaf!!! Score one for me!:cool1: $23.95 for 3.17 oz......

I believe that what i ordered is what they serve in Disney. I was given the website by V&A, so that is just an assumption!

Yes, tealeaves is what they serve at the Tea room, and other higher end restaurants. The company name is actually "T", which is crazy hard to search on google. You can also get it at places like Artist Point, and last year I even had a cup of it at The Wave.
