I was looking at a couple of blogs regarding close up/nature photography and there seems to be conflicting opinions on what lens to use. One blogger recommends a macro lens while the other recommends non macro faster lens. For those of you who shoot alot of nature or close ups which lens would you look to?

Thanks,

David

It really depends on how you want to shoot it. I tend to do nature more from a distance, so I use a long zoom. But some people like to get up close and personal with the bugs and use a macro. And some people like the fastest lens they can get thier hands on. There is no right, wrong, or best here. It's about what suits your style.
