Mac Tablet!

Sooo... Apple is hosting an event on the 27th of January and it is rumoured that they'll be unveiling a "Tablet", basically a big iPod touch.

Anyone besides me planning on getting one, price depending?

OMG!!

I would LOVE one but I can only imagine the price! We just bought the 26 inch iMac in August. DH would kill me if I tried to talk him into this one!

I am glad they are coming out with this now.....I just got a netbook and iPhone. So hopefully in a few years when my netbook and iPhone are obsolete the tablet will be somewhat affordable. I've read rumors it will be $1000 ballpark which is way to much for me!

I have heard that as well which will put it out of my budget. We just bought an Imac and I would have loved a small Apple . Oh well.

I was intrigued until I saw the $1000 figure. Even if it's half that, I'm a long way off from spending that kind of money.

I do not think so for right now, I just bought my yearly exchange for my imac and a new macbook pro, and I have the 3GS iphone and everything else. so not for now...I have Mac everywhere in my house!! lol
