Mac and ISP?

Hi everyone! i just bought an eMac today and I'm so confused-lol!

I managed to connect to the net, using a free trial of earthlink that came on it. I have an aol account already and I liked it, is aol good with a mac? Or should I stay with earthlink? If I choose to go with the AOl how do i do that, just download it at the site?

So far I really like my eMac, it's just that everythings so different from my pc, I'm slightly overwhelmed-lol!

YES, you can use AOL (or pretty much any other ISP) on a Mac. I had a trial of AOL at one time on my Mac G3. Just download it or call and get a disk.

AOL should work just fine on your Mac (I've had many friends with Macs & AOL). If you already have an account there, then just keep with it. You can either get a free disk that a lot of stores carry or go download it http://free.aol.com/tryaolfree/cdt.adp?139331

AOL will be fine on your eMac, as will Earthlink, so it's just a personal preference. I use Optimum Online cable internet with my iMac (will work with the eMac as well) and I definetly prefer their service. Is this your first experience with Macs? If so, I know you will enjoy it--they are great computers!!

AOL should work fine on your Mac.

My dad is a new Mac user too. He bought a Powerbook & was a little confused at first, but he loves it. He likes showing it off too.

BTW, you might want to consider getting a cable modem eventually. I think most of the people using one will tell you they'd never go back.
