M.G.M. to Epcot

What is the best way to get from M.G.M. to Epcot (Friday night) and from Epcot to M.G.M. (Saturday night.)
Thanks for any information ... It seams like transportation between the parks is difficult and I hate going back to the resort just to catch another bus.

Actually, park to park is easy its resort to resort that can be trickey. MGM to Epcot you can walk or take the friendship boat from MGM to the IG of Epcot and back. Its a long ride because it stops at S/D, BW and YCBC, about 20-30 minutes. It is quicker to walk, we beat the boat even with two kids.

If you need to get to the front of Epcot just take the bus from MGM to Epcot, its quicker and takes you to the main entrance rather than IG.

Traveling between MGM and Epcot is easy. You can either walk on the walkway that runs along the canal/Boardwalk which will take about 15-30 min. or ride the Friendship boats that run between the 2 parks. Also about 20-30 min. with 3 stops (Swan/Dolphin, YC/BC and Boardwalk) before arriving at Epcot.

I think we will do the boat going from M.G.M to Epcot on Friday
(we have ADR's for for lunch and will be leaving M.G.M about 3:00 due to the Pop kids that night and want to see the tree lighting and fireworks at Epcot)
Then use the bus on Saturday to go from Epcot to M.G.M. (we have ADR's for dinner at LeCellier at 4:20 but still want to make it to M.G.M. for fireworks and lights.)
This is our first trip during Christmas (we usually go for Halloween) and I do want to see as much as I can that is up for the holidays.

Also, you may want to keep in mind what part of Epcot you are going to or coming from.

We were recently going from MGM to Epcot. Since we wanted to start in FW and then make our way to WS, we took the bus since that put us at the front entrace. The boat or walkway puts you at the International Gateway in Epcot.
