From a mother with a daughter who is immune compromised, I will use anything and everything to "help" kill germs. The smallest cold can harm my daughters body, she simply can not fight any bugs even chicken pox.
We have used Lysol wipes and Lysol sprays around the house for 8 years now, and knock on wood she has not had any major infections. And I believe its because we use "Chemicals" to help stop the spread of germs.
When every we fly with her or travel with her I always bring bags of Lysol Wipes and hand sanitizer with us and wipe everything a lot! (never thought of bringing a Lysol spray bottle with us, but will for sure bring one on our upcoming cruise in October!! Thanks!). We even have a face cover for her on the plane like the ones doctors use. No matter how clean the cleaning people clean a room my peace of mind knowing that I took that extra step to prevent any germs from hurting my daughter helps me sleep better. We are big hand washers in my family but that not always helps when you touch something then all of a sudden your eye is itchy and then you just spread the germs from your hands to eye. So if we can wipe down surfaces and spray why not, it's not going to hurt us or put us out of our way its only going to help.
Been thinking of even finding a stronger wipe then Lysol to use, maybe the hospital kind. But after using them for 4 months in a hospital non stop when she was a baby, my hands were pretty raw!!
Were looking forward to my daughters Wish trip and look forward to cleaning the room the first moment we get in then not have to worry about anything else for once (besides other sick people that is but that's a everyday battle for us!)
