Lynx Bus route 50.

This bus goes from WDW TTC to Seaworld.
On the Lynx website the route map is ok, but the stops aren't clearly marked, unless I'm missing something and it only makes four stops. I've read that the Lynx buses are unreliable but I wanted a backup plan. We are non-drivers staying on South I-Drive (Vistana Villages) and I'm concerned about taxi availability (should I be?) on late nights after fireworks etc at WDW. I thought the Lynx50 could be my backup plan.
Does any body know if it makes more than four stops? ie is there a stop before Sea Harbour Drive?
Does anybody use the service, if so how do you find it, do you travel with small children/buggies etc.
Thanks.
PS - Do you pay onboard or do you need to pre-pay. How much is it?

I've taken that bus routa a few times, its $1.50 if I remember rightly and you pay on board (right money only, no change given) I can't remember how many stops it had but it was pretty much direct - ( I can't even remember there being as many as four!)

i'm pretty sure that the seaworld stop is the first stop we caught it when we went in january and the bus service is only unreliable depending on the traffic due to the route it was on (i found this out while waiting for the lynx 42 on the way to universal as a local who worked at us said that particular bus always ran a little late)

I've used route 56. I assume 50 is the same. Pay onboard - no change given. I've used it riding with a power wheelchair with no problem. I assume buggies would be no problem. Check times for last bus on Lynx website. Buses don't run as late as they do in the UK. If you are staying for fireworks, you will probably be too late for last bus.

totally different lynx route but my first year I stayed at maingate and the lynx bus ran prety much 24 hours a day, we often left the parks at 11 or later at night and joined a lynx bus full of cast members travelling home after work.
I don't think taxis would be a problem anyway Disney will assure you you willl NOT be stuck on disney property with no way to get home, cms will help you find a cab/bus :thumbsup2

Hi.

I would give the lynx service a big thumbs up:thumbsup2 , we're non drivers in orlando and always use the lynx bus service. There no different to the buses here, sometimes their late.

I've found their mostly late when we've been trying to get back from Walmart on a Saturday. I've waited over an hour :furious: for a bus from Walmart back to International drive. In the end we gave up caught the first lynx bus going to the florida mall, and then got on the lynx 42 back to I drive.
