I LOVE that dress!!! I tried it on and it was a strong contender. I think just from the snippet you showed it looks great on you. I know what the whole gown looks like, and it's beautiful! Not only in person, but in photos as well, which is just as important.

BTW, the whole "be my cow" thing? Freakin adorable. I love that he said that! Sounds like a line out of a movie.

I'M GETTING MARRIED IN A LITTLE OVER 3 MONTHS!
I'LL HAVE A NEW LAST NAME BY THE END OF THE YEAR!

Kathleen just called - she's wonderful! We went over availability, and my first choice of Nov 10 - 9am wasn't available, but Nov 9th was, but then we'd have to change our travel plans. I'm sad I'll lose Ohana, which I thought was a genious plan, but we discussed how there will be less resort traffic at 1pm, than at 9am with the breakfast crowd. She's sending all my info to me now!!

I asked if I could upgrade a bouquet, but that was a no, incase someone wants to know in the future. That's okay... I'll rock something different If I have Jason, a Disney photographer is forfeited. That's okay because you only get 3 pictures from them anyway.

It's all coming together nicely!! Sorry to keep everyone waiting!!

Danielle... what days are you staying?? I hope we're close!!

I have so much work to do!! So many people to contact!! OMG OMG OMG!!! I need an assistant, and I can only pay you in Dior, lol. Who's with me?

A little Jealous? Maybe.. Excited? Just a little! haha. I think it suits you perfectly... A wedding you've been planning for over a year and a half prior to the original date (possibly more that isn't documented online) and an organized self that has it all ready even if it is just 3 months away. I'm getting giddy just thinking about it.

Your PJ definitely needs to be turned into a made for TV movie, if not an awesome series on WE.

The dress is just perfect for this. It's not exactly my dream wedding dress with bling and poof and fabulousity---but it's perfect for our new wedding. Lol... I can remember how bad I used to get on him about "buying the cow" lol--I felt like being a live-in girlfriend that I was disposable--but if you put a ring on it that you're investing, lol.

If you didn't notice... I was MIA yesterday. Woke up, went outside, tire was on the ground. Tried to get in the garage for the compressor, but it wasn't charged, tried to charge it--didn't really know what I was doing so I thought I'd go to a gas station and pony up the 75 cents. First gas station the air was out of service. So I go to the next. I find that my valve stem cap is missing--great. So I went to Auto Zone, got caps and went back to the gas station for air. I felt a pinch on my arm, then all of a sudden my whole arm was swollen like it was in a fat suit. I got bit by something 5 times on my forearm and once on the leg. So I go over to Walgreens, talk to the clinic person who told me the allergic reaction was bad--most likely a spider, to take 4 benedryl, then go get a shot at urgent care. Great. So I had to call work back and change my "i'll be late" to "i'm not coming in" since I had taken enough benedryl to put me to sleep for 5 days. Got a shot, went home, passed out. I got up around 3 and decided to try to venture out. I felt like hell. My stomach hurt, my head hurt, my arm hurt--but I was determined not to waste the day. I went to target to grab a few things, Sephora to try some mattifiers and setting spray, the Jeweler to look rings for him, got a pedi because I felt like it, went to my massage which was amazing, hit the grocery and went home. I wanted to get a hair cut, but figured I shouldn't on a day that I called off work, lol--it would look bad on my part.

I heard back from the hair people with Niki Bryan and they have made the date change for me. I got Jason's contract. I'm still waiting on my LOA.

I dunno if I mentioned this here or not. My heart broke, but now I guess it's the best of both worlds. When I called reservations on my lunch the day the discounts came out, 3 hours after they released--not one room on the monorail was available for free dining or the AP 40% off. I cried, didn't know what to do. They offered me the YC, WL or AKL. The GF at rack rate would put me in the poor house this close. I was really counting on something. So I did some major math. Using someone's wedding room block, getting the AP/TIW or DxDDP, this and that, and maybe this.... Long story short... without a discount--GF for 6 nights at rack rate was impossible without more planning. So I called back, we got a split stay with GF for 2 nights and YC-CL for 4 nights!!! I do like this. I was determined to stay at the GF for my wedding, but YC has such a special place in our hearts (and storm-a-long bay!) that it'll be great. Best of both worlds. So I pay GF rack rate for 2 nights--then I got 40% YC-CL for 4 nights. It saved over $1000.

Really the only thing I haven't done is order the cake, and order our slipper desserts. I wonder how far in advance that has to be done?

I feel like I have a benedryl hangover today. I need to get it together, I have lots of work to do at the office.

So DF made ME tell FMIL last night. I felt like a *******. Ummm, so yeah, Disney has an intimate package offer for 2011 and we decided to do that since we'll already be there. Immediately snapped at me, "well I can't go." Did I ask you to go? I let her know that it was INTIMATE and no one was going but us. She said, well I wish I would have known before signing up for overtime on my weekend off. Oh hush--again, we could have not told you and be like SURPRISE when we get back. I'm trying this new honesty thing and frankly it's biting me in the behind. She seemed really mad when we got off the phone, but then emailed me about an at home reception 5 minutes later. We'll cross that bridge another day. She wanted a guest list like last night, and I'm like---uh I have bigger fish to fry right now. She was okay with this idea a couple months ago so I am not even trying to hear her complain.

In between real work today, lol. I'm going to get my August budget together to see what I'm paying where, etc.

Oh... and how do you like my call on the stock market?? I called that last week. What a disaster.

I feel like there was something else.... who knows... I can always update later!

It took me 2 days, but I read through your entire PJ..........wow. I cannot believe all of the stuff you have been through. You may not think this at times but from reading your entries, you are a very patient, caring, confident, energetic person........and you are courageous!

I don't know how you work as hard as you do and still maintain a relationship with your man, focus on the wedding, and have time for family and friends.

Congrats on your new date! I have a luau beach wedding booked on 11/13/11, so I will be a few days after you.

I look forward to reading your journal leading up to the wedding.

Sorry about the drama with your FMIL. I've got drama with mine, too. I'm going to have to start doing daily meditations or something to deal with her. I always that people exaggerated about the Mother In Laws, or that they were just dramatized for movies and such, but after the snafus I've had with mine and the crap you've gone through with yours, I see that it's all true.
