Lupus/Sjogrens Syndrome?

I was diagnosed by an ANA test yesterday with both. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Funny thing is, I have no symptoms at all-feel perfectly healthy.

Originally I was thought to have lupus, but tested negative. I do have Sjrogens, and see a great Rheumy. I hope you have a good doctor, it makes a huge difference IMHO. Your SS was diagnosed simply through bloodwork? Or have you had biopsies done or gland testing? I thought, I might be wrong, that as the only way to confirm.

I have a lot of dryness, skin, glands, etc. This causes quite a bit of soreness, and have testing done every few months, to make sure that it stays where it is.

It was through bloodwork, out of 1-99, I was 149 although I don't know what these numbers represent. I have an appt with a rheumy in october. I do notice that I must close my eyes many times a day to moisten them and had trouble with dry eyes when I tried to use contacts in the spring.

OH yes, the eyes are a big thing with most people with SS. I have tear drops that were prescribed that help a big deal. Any should help until you see your doctor, and they might prescribe something more efficient. For myself, it is as if I have sand in my eyes.
