Lunch with an Imagineer ???

Has anyone experienced this lunch yet? We have PS at the end of this month and are very curious what to expect.

Someone posted a couple of weeks ago that they had a great lunch at the Brown Derby with an Imagineer. This will bump you to the top for more comments.

that was my post. We went on 6/4 and had a great time. Expect a lot of food (dessert was the best)! There were 8 of us (3 were children) which may seem like a lot but I liked it because everyone asked the imagineer questions that I wouldn't have thought of! Our imagineer was a graphic designer and he was very open and not put-off by some of the "dumb" questions. The poor guy hardly got to eat though! The meal is supposed to last until 1:00 but ours went until 2:30! The plate you get is great and they packed it in a pizza box and it survived the ride home!

How do you book that and do you know who you are having lunch with? Do you mind my asking the price? Is it the same for children? We are always looking for something new to do.

you book thru disney dining 30 days out. You need to give them a credit card #. It is definitely not cheap. There is either lunch or dinner. Dinner is more but includes wine, etc. I don't remember the exact price but for me and my DS, 10 it was maybe $120. I used Disney Visa reward dollars to pay for the whole thing so it was actually free (????). No, you don't find out who the imagineer is till you get there. check www.allearsnet.com for more info.

Is there any way to get something like chicken fingers for a child? Not sure my son would enjoy that menu?
