Hi I was wodering does anyone bring lunchables into the park with them for their kids or is that just too cheap? :wizard:

i think disneyland doesn't let outside food in that rule might only be used in some disneylands i know paris has it oh if adults or children need special dietry food they let that in they have too

I know you can bring it into WDW because my friend just returned and told me what she took. I believe you can into Disneyland also, I know we always take water but I think I remember seeing people with coolers.

As for it being cheap, you do whatcha gotta do! I dont think it is cheap if that's what you want to do.

I dont think its cheap at all. You bring what you can to keep your family happy :) but we all know the kids are going to want something else!! :mickeybar :) Find a nice shaded spot to chill and eat up! :)

You didn't say whether you are staying at WDW resort but if you are and your children are young you could always consider an afternoon break by returning to you hotel and having lunch there, that way you can more variety to your lunches, or take pb&j and fix sandwiches there. I know like most kids PB&J if still one of my favorite sandwiches.

We brought lots of snacks into the parks with us to tide the kids over. My aunt brought in those little premade pb&j snadwich - I think they are Crustable by Smuckers for her girls. I had a another aunt bring in premade chicken and tuna salad for her own lunch! Bring what you can carry!

They will not stop you from bringing snacks into the parks.

Just to echo what others have said, I didn't have a problem last time with bringing in little pouches of snacks to tide me over during the day. Some might call it cheap, but I call it sensible. We all know how expensive a trip to WDW can get, so in my book any way you can think of to limit costs would be considered smart or even thrifty; but definitely not cheap.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, my DH and I look forward to making a stop at Gooding's (I know, I know...we have to find a Publix next time) and stocking up on stuff for our "snack pack". We usually get bottled water, mini pretzels, Goldfish crackers, peanuts, etc. and then mix it all together (not the water, just the crunchy stuff) in a Ziploc bag. It's a nice little pick-me-up during the day.
