Has any one recently eaten lunch at CRT - how was the food?

Where would I find a current menu?

Having lunch there is a tradition for us. The restaurant is beautifully themed and we much prefer the food at lunch to that at breakfast.

Allears.net has menus and it's probably pretty up to date. The menu there like other theme park restaurants doesn't change often.

Thanks for the reply. Did see the allears.net menu. Wondered if our teen girls could order off the kids menu? The lunch menu would be too much food for them. They'd prefer a burger or chicken strips. What do you usually order? Was hoping for sandwich type entrees; what is on the menu seems like too much food for lunch.

Hey,

We usually get dinner there. But one time during our stays at WDW we do a big lunch somewhere. That's usually the morning we get up later (and by later I mean like 8 or 9). We then get our lunch at like 1130pm or 12pm. Then we do a light dinner later in the night. You could definitly plan a day for a big lunch and have light breakfast and dinners that day.

I love CRT so I would definitly not miss it. And the food is really good at lunch and dinner.

Three of us order the Coachman sandwich. Love it as well as the salad that accompanies it on the plate. One son always orders the cheeseburger from the kids menu and has never had trouble doing so although he's now a young adult. It is small though....about the size of a regular McDonald's burger with a scoop of corn and mashed potatoe on the side. He then usually has about a quarter or so of my sandwich.

The salads are very good looking, too.

My DH usually just orders soup.

BCV23 - was surprised the sides on the kids meals were mashed potatoes. Were you able to substitute fries?

No, although we haven't tried in years. That son has enough fries as it is!:o Mashed potatoes are a nice switch for him.

For a long time, I know they didn't have the capacity to do fries. I believe they do now offer waffle fries as an appetizer....maybe they're baked?
