Luna Pool reopening Jan. 21! UPDATE 1/21--OPEN!

We are at BWV right now and have been told by 2 different CMs that the Luna Pool will reopen ahead of schedule--sometime on Monday, Jan. 21. I'm sure that some will be delighted and others will be disappointed that they won't be hopping to SAB.

I talked to MS on friday night and i was told Luna pool would open on Feb. 1st., but maybe MS didnt know they were ahead of schedual.

Sure will. I do like SAB but wasn't looking forward to all that walking and I'm going with my mother and she's 75, so my only hope to get her in the pool was at our resort.

Wasn't planning on swimming anyway and with highs in mid-60s expected during my trip don't think this will effect anything.

Yeah! The forecast is calling for temps in the mid to high 70's next week. I'm bringing my suit!

Bummer!!!

I was hoping we'd get to try SAB!!! We stayed there 2 years ago and my DD fell in the pool with all her clothes and shoes on because she was so amazed at the pool. OH Well!!! At least we get our clown slide!!!

We were at BWV from 1/11 to 1/19 - and mid week, they filled the pool with water... so I was wondering if it would open sooner.

As for getting to BCV - I was SO worried about it, and I have to admit, it was all for naught. BWV made it SUPER easy. They had 2 lifeguards waiting by the front of the Luna Park pool area (the doors by the elevator) and had a golf cart. We would just hop on and they would speed over to BCV. When we were done swimming, we found a lifeguard and they would radio over to BWV and the golf cart would be there in 5 minutes. It was very nice and fun to use SAB again even if it was a little chilly.

It is the main, themed pool at BW, the one with the water slide.

Was in Luna pool yesterday. My three year old went down the slide at least 50 times. They didn't even inform us it was open, just happened to walk by and see people swimming.

I've always been curious about a couple things at the Luna Park Pool -

If at the end of the slide you're spit out of his mouth, what part of the clown did you enter at the beginning?

And another, completely unrelated question; Why do you think they named it "Keister Coaster"?

The DIS is saying that the pool is open, but the latest AllEars newsletter is still saying opening Feb 16th. It is open already, right?

I saw that in All Ears as well, but I was at BWV last week and can verify that the refurbishment was ahead of schedule and the Luna pool is open.
