Luna Park view?

I just looked at a BW map.

I think I might request to be near Luna Park.
One, we want to be near the themed pool.
Two, we want easy access to the buses.

Should I request to be near Luna Park and an elevator?

On that section of Luna Park, is the view facing the pool considered preferred?
On that same section is the side facing towards the entrance standard view?

yes - the main pool view (all pool views) are considered preferred.

yes - the other side facing the entrance way is standard.

yes - you have the main pool and be close to the elevators.

you won't have easy access to the buses.

you need to be at the bottom near the tennis court - there is a back door to allow easy access to the buses - not near the elevators - but they do have stairs. first floor works better here.

spiceycat, we will have a stroller with us, though.
Impres suggested us request ground floor to get to buses and pool since we ahve a stroller. I'm wondering though if she menat Luan park pool or one of the quiet pools?

the quiet pool is closer to the buses

I would ask for standard or preferred as close to the parking lot as possible - then you are as close to the buses as you can get.
on the first floor.

if you can't get the first floor then ask for near the elevators.

so ask this way - on the first floor near the bus stop (they will know what you are talking about) - or near the elevators. make sure when you check in that the room you are given meets one of these descriptions - other wise - ask to see what else they have.

make sure you get bell services to take you to your room - ask him for the short cuts - believe me after a while you will want to know where the stairs are that leads to the BW..... yes even taking a stroller....

Thansk again spiceycat! One last thing - when you say first floor do you mena first floor or ground level? (If there is a difference?)

no - the ground floor is the 1st

the lobby is on the second floor. you will see when you get in the elevators.

the BW entry is on the first floor - but really far from where you will be if you get near the buses.

I like to stay at different resorts for the theme parks - if I know the majority of my trip is going to be at the MK then I try for VWL or OKW. if the majority of my trip is going to be at Epcot or Studios then BWV or BCV.

So far I haven't found a DVC resort that is really much better (faster) than any of the others to AK. So I generally drive there and stay at OKW (saving points).

you will be back to WDW - that is the beauty of owning DVC - you don't have to go to every park - every time - you will back.

If you want to do the MK because of your children's ages then try for VWL. If you know your kids will love the MK - then I wouldn't even bother with the buses - just stay at VWL and take the boat to the MK. the other WDW theme parks will be there when your children are old enough to enjoy them....

now if you are talking about during the AK - so far as I say I haven't found any DVC transportation that is better than the other.

kept in mind that the bus stop and the boat ride are just about on opposite sides - the walkway to Epcot is closer to the elevators - and the main lobby - this is also where the boat is for both Epcot and studios comes.

studios you can go out the back door (I think) and be on the sidewalk fast - however if you want to ride a boat - then it is a long walk.
