Hi, all. :wave: Remember me? I'm a WISH buddy, but I haven't been around much. . .:D . I'm just checking in, though, so you don't think I jumped ship.

I've been noticing some not-so-good things since I've been off program this week. First of all, my skin looks awful. I haven't been getting my water in, have had way too much caffeine and sugar, and I'm paying the price for it. Yuck.

Next, I've developed an uncomfortable thickness around my middle. When I get up in the morning and look in the mirror and see my belly looking all the more rounder again. . .YIKES!

Now, you'd think that all this would shock me into making healthier food choices and it has, to a degree, but truthfully, I'm continuing the party:p , but in a less grand style. I'm trying to be choosy about the treats that I take in, and I'm trying to stay away from the carbs. Oh, my gosh, I'm such a carb addict! After not having things like tortilla chips and pretzels in the house too much, I'm finding that when I eat them, I'm almost sucked into some addictive response. . .scary.

Anyway. I have had my plan in the back of my mind, and here is where I am today:

1. Vitamins--:D
2. Water--3 :D
3. Exercise--maxed out on the cardiologist's treadmill. The techs there told me that was enough exercise for one day.:p I liked those people.:p
4. Food--peanut butter sandwich on lite bread and coffee at dr. (7), biscotti in the coffee shop (3 or 4), small salad w/ chicken, olives, and drsg (about 8), dinner--?

It won't be cheat free, no way, no how, but that's OK. I'm just along for the ride right now.

Had to post this before I forgot. My father-in-law is here visiting w/my mother-in-law. He looked at me and said, "You could blow away in the wind." Now that is one I've never heard!:D That was sweet.

Today hasn't been too good, health-wise. Forgot the vitamins and most of the water. Had a donut around 11 a.m., will have dessert later. Have to say, though, my eating hasn't been compulsive today--no bingeing. I'm happy about that.

I'm hoping I'm wearing my size 10 suit tomorrow; I haven't tried it on since March 28th when I wore it to DDs big concert. Wish me luck!;)

I'm also celebrating the end of Lent: one chocolate chip cookie, a piece of pound cake, vanilla coffee, a reese cup, and a snicker's bar. :rolleyes: Did I mention it's the end of Lent and I can eat chocolate at will?????

Doreen and I are packing our bags and are getting ready to get back to the healthy living highway tomorrow. I'll be on the real highway, taking my mother home and I know that it's going to be hard, but I'm ready. The vacation from point counting needs to be over. I want my structure, my vitamins, my water, and my dearly beloved treadie. The title of next week: "How Lulu Got Her Healthy Lifestyle Groove Back." Stay tuned for the previews. :p

We went to the sunrise service (I had to play), then I left DD in her choir robe, DH with his drum sticks, and DM in a back row pew--all getting ready for the 2nd service. I had to take a movie back, so I stopped at home and took my vitamins and will bring my DM her raincoat. I'm off to service #3--such is life for a family of musicians.:D

OK, well, I was kind of back on Monday :rolleyes: , but then I had to travel and eat out a half dozen times, so I'm here on this rainy Wednesday to say that TODAY I'M REALLY BACK!:Pinkbounc

Today is going to be my first cheat free day in April. I've been off plan for almost two weeks and I am paying for it big time. However. . .I'm here now and ready to get back to work and to my healthy living lifestyle.

Goals for today:

1. Take the vitamins (I think I still know where they are. . .no, now that's not true. I had some on Sunday or was it Monday???)

2. Drink the water. I've got to get my big WW mug ready to go.

3. Get on the treadie and walk 1-2 miles--whatever time will allow after getting DD off to school.

4. Stay on plan. Target is 22 points. AP will be 1 or 2. I see oatmeal, tuna, fresh veggies, hard-boiled egg--that kind of stuff in the line up for today.

Today is going to be brutal. My body has been high on carbs and white sugar for almost 14 days and I know it's going to give me a fight today for the wrong kind of stuff. Oh, well, I'm going to go forward anyway. :hyper:
