Hi Erin,
I think you did great with not binging. You ate 2 cookies. It was not a binge. It was the best option available. No guilt involved.
I understand the whole Godly submission thing, but I still have a problem with it. I think it is probably the word submission that gives me hives. We all have our issues. You are exploring yours. I think it is healthy to look at things and work towards these goals, but they also have to work within your relationship and the real world. Of course, I'm not reading the book, so I should keep my mouth shut.
I hope you manage to get some good rest tonight.
Beth

It's a sunny day, dear Erin!
and to WISH you a wonderful week ahead! Take care!
Thanks, everyone, for weighing in with their opinions. I'd definitely have to say that Michelle has a great description of the thoughts the author is trying to convey. My only "beef" with the topic was that I felt the author--most likely because she only had a chapter to address this issue--simplified what it's like to actually LIVE this concept on a day to day basis.
9/30 Tomorrow for sure!

You are all just plain awesome! Thank you, Beth, Doreen, Terry, Michelle, Tracy, and Amanda! I'm so thankful for all of you and for all the love and support you give to me. Please know that over the next few days you'll all be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you all have Thanksgivings blessed with peace and love.

I think it'll take me a little time to get used to this.
I really wanted to walk today Outside! but not in this.
I have vowed to get back to plan this week and walk at least 20 miles. What's your goal for this week?
I'm really enjoying it. I worked all day yesterday after church and even had to make TWO trips to K-Mart, but the sense of completion I've got makes it worth it.
