luggage drop off at terminal

I will be driving to the terminal with my two children. Will I be able to drop off my luggage or do we have to carry it from the parking lot to the terminal? Neither of my children are old enough to be left alone. Also, how far away is the parking area from the terminal?

You will pull up by the curb and they will take your luggage. Then you can park and go check in. Have lots of fun!

you can conveniently drop off luggage right at the terminal, give those nice porters some $, and then park the car in the adjacent lot....the parking area is just steps from the terminal....you'll be amazed at just how easy this whole thing is!!!!

I had 6 kids with me and dropping off was easy as pie. They direct you to exactly where you go and then to the parking lot which is only steps away from the terminal.

What was even better was returning. The porter helped us gather our (10 bags) and took it right to the car for me. They even helped me load the car. I had $15 in my hands for a tip and they were so wonderful I added $10 more $'s. I hope $25 was enough

I guess I hit it at a bad time. On my last cruise just last month, after I dropped off the rest of the party, I went ot go park. The parking lot is very close as has been mentioned but there were so many people trying to do the exact same thing that it took over 20 minutes to get from the drop off area to the parking gate where you pay (pay as you enter). They even had both of their cashier lines open. Then during the brief walk back, everyone had to show ID (again) before getting close to the building (more ID checks later also). There were lots of family groups who didn't do the drop off thing, so everyone had to show ID. It was even the same CM who was checking IDs there as checked mine initially when I drove in 25 minutes before. Luckily she remembered me when I finally got up to her & she didn't need to check my name off the list (again). So needless to say, the rest of my party had gone as far as they could without me at the check in & was wondering what took so long. Like I said, guess I hit a bad time. I pick the worst lines in the grocery store also!
