Love our new TiVo!

I bought this for a family Christmas gift this year (admittedly because I wanted it!) and I was right- I'm loving it! We all have our favorite shows on "season pass" and don't miss a thing! Never again will I come here and realize I forgot a Disney special was on!!

Other tivo owners out there??

DH got me mine for my birthday last April. I LOVE it. So much easier than a VCR. I also love the pause function.

Don't know how I lived w/o it before. Great for watching ATWT- got a season pass on that.

Moxi is what I have and it is similar but offered through my cable company. I LOVE it. Jennifer now you know a little bit of my secret to the ATWT recaps. I can go back as much as I want if I didn't hear all of everything.

Lately I've decided on so many shows that I want to record that I can't add anymore right now.

LOVE mine too! Have to agree the season pass is the greatest invention!!! I love that the most. Never have to miss my shows then.

I don't have the TIVO brand, but I have a DVR through the cable company and it ROCKS It is so simple to use(I never even read the manual), and the convenience is unbelievable.

Tivo is awesome. We've had ours for over a year now.

Don't forget that you can record while watching a pre-recorded show!

My favorite thing is being able to pause live tv. Or starting a show late and catching up during the commercials. All in all I like it a lot. we haven't figured out how to record one show while we're watching something on tv (live tv, but without the ability to pause it, of course). My DH says he knows how to do this, but I haven't fiddled with it to figure it out.

We also have multiple TiVos and LOVE them We bought finally bought our 2nd Series 2 machine a couple of years ago so now we have a "his and hers" set where my husband is in control of the TiVo in the living room and I get the one in the bedroom. Since we have a wireless network going in the house, we can "see" each others shows and transfer them between TiVos when needed! Amazing!

I find it hilarious that our son has grown up with TiVo and doesn't understand how good he really has it (we bought our first series 1 model back in 2000 or so)....you could never tell him "wait until the commercial" because he would say "just pause it!"
