Our first venture into Disney was the MNSSHP on the 3rd. Shortly after the party started my dd was sick. As we were to sit down to watch the parade my dh took her to the First Aid room where she slept a bit. I talked to my dh via two way radio and he told me to walk around with the boys as dd was asleep anyway. I sat with my boys and watched the parade and we tried to hit a few trick or treating spots before we met up with dh to go home. Since it was my 1st time in the park in 16 years and it was dark I was having trouble finding the First Aid room. I called upon a CM who walked us to the First Aid room and also arranged for tickets for us for the party on the 8th since we pretty much missed the one we were at. A few CMs also trick or treated for dd and gave her a huge bag of candy and they gave us some express fast passes for BTMRR and SM
On Wed. we went to MGM and found that the Honey I Shrunk the Kids set was closed due to Hurricane damage. My kids were devastated, they were so looking forward to playing in there. We walked by the set and saw a CM standing in the queue. She told us that they had finished fixing it early and it would be opening in a few minutes. Can you believe that? My kids jumped up and down!
On Thurs. we went to MK in the evening, my dd was on a mission to ride on Cindy's horse. The carousel had no line so we got in and were searching for the horse. We couldn't see it while the ride was moving, but as the carousel stops, Cindy's horse stops right in front of dd. She was SO pleased and had a huge grin sitting on Cindy's horse!
On our last night at WDW, we were leaving the MNSSHP and getting on the monorail to the TTC. One was leaving just as we walked up, so we went to the spot in the line where the train stops and asked to ride up front. My kids got to ride up front on their last monorail ride of our trip.
I want to write to Disney to tell them about the CM that was so nice to me at the MNSSHP when I was distraught over my dd being sick and missing the party. Can anyone tell me where to write to? I know the CMs name & hometown from his badge. I have tears in my eyes again thinking of his kindness to me, he could obviously tell how upset I was that dd was sick on her 1st trip to DisneyWorld. We had a terrific time on the 8th when we got our 2nd chance at the party, I'm so grateful to Disney for their kindness and generosity
