LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

OK, if this guy was only supposed to be on the island for a few months....why didn't they ask him 'current events' questions...things that someone who's been on the island for years wouldn't know??????? Now I suppose it's possible that the others have some 'reception' from radios or the like, but our guys didn't even try that tatic :confused3

Your very smart! They better think of that.

I don't think they will. That would be the common sense thing to do, but the writers/producers may not be doing it for other reasons - like once it gets into syndication and is on 5 or 10 years from now, will the "clues" that tell us it's happening now (like who is the current president, who is Britney Spears) give the viewers information, or just be a distraction from the story?

Plus, as someone else pointed out, do we really know this is happening in the "now" part of time.

I'm not sure why they are SO convinced Henry is an other. Nobody really questioned Desmond and he ended up on that island without them. It IS entirely possible that other people end up on this island.

Now, I'm not saying that Henry isn't an other. That look was creepy and I do believe he would remember WHERE he buried his wife! I just think it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he did crash there.

That is true.

The thing that bugs me is- If Henry was on the lsland for longer than our friends in the plane crash. Why didn't he notice something about the crash? The pilots ended up somewhere in the middle of the island; Our guys ended up on one side on the beach; and the tail enders ended up on the other side of the island. It just seems odd that he wouldn't have noticed ANYTHING when they crashed.

Also- Isn't his name Henry Gale? That would be the same name as Dorothy's uncle from the Wizard of Oz. Which brings us to an odd connection: Henry Gale in Lost crashing in a balloon and the fact that Dorothy should have left Oz in a balloon.

From the clothes & hairstyles the passangers are wearing they are looking very 2005 ish. PLUS when they found the underground Bunker did'nt they date the time of construction & say something like this is 30 years old?

The more I think about it, the more I think he is an Other as well.

Guess we will have to wait and see for sure!

Hello all...just joining in the discussion.

I'm trying to remember the bit about Kates father. Wasn't it her stepfather that died when she blew up the trailer? She then went to see her natural father at his work(he was in uniform at a desk) or do I have these two guys mixed up?

The guy she thought was her step-dad was her real dad and that is why she killed him. At least that is what I got out of it.

No, the next episode is Maternity Leave (Claire's flashback) on March 1st. I had already posted all of those spoilers, though. The spoilers I posted last night are new.

Here's the info for Maternity Leave:

Episode 2.15: Maternity Leave
Airdate: March 1, 2006

02/14 - Friendly Mr. Zeke may have something in common with Tobias Fünke [from Arrested Development]. Zeke has hair plugs? You are sorta, kinda on the right track. Source: Kristin on E!Online
02/13 - Guest starring are M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly, Mira Furlan as Danielle Rousseau, Michael Emerson as Henry Gale, Tania Raymonde as young girl and William Mapother as Ethan. Source: ABC
02/10 - Are we about to meet Rousseau's never-before-seen daughter, Alex, on Lost? I'm thinking yes since 17-year-old actress Tania Raymonde has just joined the cast. You may remember Raymonde as Frankie Muniz's on-again off-again crush on Malcolm in the Middle. Source: The Ausiello Report
02/10 - A desperate Claire, along with Kate and Rousseau, attempts a return to the scene of her kidnapping where she believes she might find the cure for Baby Aaron's mysterious illness. Meanwhile, Jack and Locke must keep their prisoner a secret from the rest of the survivors. Source: ABC
01/30 - Big, huge, huge stuff coming up with Claire and the baby. She has a flashback ep coming up, and in it, Aaron is going to take a turn. Claire is going to start remembering. She's going to go places. Source: Kristin on E!Online
01/16 - You will be learning more about Claire, her baby, AND Danielle in the coming weeks. And although I can't guarantee that nothing bad will happen to any of them -- without real jeopardy, there are no stakes in this story -- and the chance that people we care about will come to harm, well... isn't that why we all keep watching in the first place? I wrote the next Claire episode (along with Dawn Kelly) and I know I can speak for both of us when I say that we hope you enjoy it. Source: Matt Raggs at The Fuselage
01/04 - We have another new survivor. In episode 2.15, we will be introduced to Jessica, 16, who is described as smart, strong, attractive and will be found on the island. She is also described as being "one with nature." They are looking for 18-20 year olds to play her. Source: SecretAgentMan at TWoP

Nothing is showing up for the Wednesday's between 3/1/06 and 3/22/06. I hope those are not all reruns!

Thanks for the spoilers, Dawn. I wouldn't be surprised if March only had one original episode, there seems to always be more reruns than originals :crazy2:

Yep, they've got to 'save up' new episodes for the May ratings sweep.

I just watched tonight's episode (aired 2 hours early in my area) and I think they revealed to much about the Others! Kinda took the mystery out of who they might be.

What, what, what???

No No No, I don't want to know! I only have 48 minutes to wait....

Was it a good episode? Why did they show it early?

wow! you've already seen it? I'm jealous. I'm tired and trying to stay awake for it tonight.

Can you tell me one thing...was Sayid in it at all?

They showed it early because the same canadian network airs both Lost and American Idol. They aired Lost at 7 and AI at 8.

Sorry mtemm, Sayid wasn't shown at all. It wasn't the best episode but it was still good and worth watching to see what happened to Claire when she was kidnapped.
