Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but I'll put it here :) In the frenzy of getting out of the MK park, unloading the stroller, me putting everything in the car, getting the kids (that included 1 tired, screaming 2 yr old) into the car while HE was to load the stroller inthe trunk, and then we go zipping out of the lot........DH leaves the STROLLER sitting right there in the lot. NONE of us thought twice about it. We headed over to Downtown Dis, had supper, some Ghiradelli, walked around, made our way back to AKL...opened the trunk and guess what......no stroller. :sad1: It was way too late to go back, we were all tired and had to pack up. Lost and found was closed anyway. We were leaving for home the next morning so we had to make a trip in the a.m. (since they wouldn't answer the phone) over to Lost and Found.....NO stroller there. Didn't get to leave Orlando until an hour later than planned and we got home just in time for bed.
I called today and stilllll noooo stroller  They have my name and number incase it gets turned in, but after 2 days....I have a feeling somebody loaded up and took it home  If YOU just HAPPENED to be in the MK Diamond parking lot on Dec 7 after 6:15 pm and saw a run away stroller-or HAVE IT and "forgot" to turn it in :thumbsup2 please message me!!! It was a brand new- Peg Perego Aria. Black with gray seat. A sunshine kids cupholder attached to the handle with a BIG container of kids hand wipes inside. I know asking all this on here is a shot in the dark...but it doesn't hurt to try! I hate to have to fork out that much again for another when I HAD a brand new one :headache: All I said to DH is "I'm glad I wasn't the one who left it....do you remember me leaving the baby's outfit next to the Hall of Presidents!?!?!?!" What a fit he had........over a $15 outfit  BTW- that was never turned in either..............

I'm sorry you lost your stroller. I'm surprised it wasn't turned in, my SIL lost his wallet with about $300 in it at MK and someone turned it in! He had it back within two hours of realizing he had lost it. Hopefully your stroller is there as well and it just hadn't made it all the way through the process with the lost and found.
BTW, love your dd's name! That's how my mom spells her name and for years she was the only one I ever heard of spelled it that way.

I had to laugh over that comment... my husband is the same way. Last weekend he backed into someone and it was "no big deal" If that had been me driving??? It would have been a HUGE deal.:headache:

I hope your stroller turns up!

Which lost and found did you check? I believe the transportation center has their own lost and found. If it was found by a worker they are not going to haul it back to the magic kingdom. When you call again ask where else it might have wound up in case someone did turn it in.

By now if found it would be at the central lost and found at the TTC.

Men and their double standards .... gotta love it. Mine is like that too.

I hope you get it back! :goodvibes

Just out of curiosity, what happens if they find your stroller? Do they ask you to pay the shipping to have it sent to your home?
I wondered how they handle those type of situations when the person has already returned home, and WDW has their belongings.

When we left Disney, I forgot my car keys on the bathroom counter in our hotel room. The plane had just landed back in Jersey when I realized it. We had to take a $125 taxi ride home, get the keys, turn around and drive the hour back to the airport with the spare set of keys, and spend another $140 to get my car out of the parking lot. I called and called the lost and found at our hotel, and they swore up and down that they didn't not have my keys (even though I knew I left them on the bathroom counter) - Finally a few days later, they called and said they found them. Of course, this was on a Monday, and they only mail on Wednesdays, so I had to wait a whole nother week till I got my keys back. Did I mention that our plane landed at 10pm - The whole ordeal (with a 5 & 6 year old) lasted till 1am....
With all the time and money that was waisted on this mistake, I would have rather left my stroller in a parking lot.

It took about a week for my DS's shoe to show up at lost and found. You may get lucky.

There is a Central Lost and Found at what used to be the kennel at the TTC. Their hours are 9:00am to 7:00pm daily. I don't have the number available, but if you call the Main Switchboard at 407-824-2222 they can connect you.

And Disney's normal policy is they will pick up the cost of shipping any found items.

The one at TTC. It's where I was told everything found on Dis property "eventually" ends up. Funny thing is- that building is only about 200 ft from where we were parked! In Diamond parking, right behind Handicapped and directly across from the bridge the trams go under. The little Lost and Found building is directly to the right. All ANYBODY had to tdo was stroll it on over there. They were open untl 7 and we left at 6:15...plenty of parking attendants still out there and not very many cars left. Would have been very very easy to see.....except WE ourselves didn't see it
I'm gonna keep calling them for a couple weeks. I know they probably get 1,000 calls a day, so I won't let them forget!

Oh Lordy...that is definately worse than our situation!! It's bad to have so much fun and end the vaca on a bad note :sad1: It's jus ;) hard for us to all get our heads bad to reality afterwards

I've always heard they will foot the bill for shipping things back to you. Now with a large stroller...that might be a different story:confused:

We've had the same thing here too :lmao: and MY bump up didn't cause any damage! his did :rolleyes1

:goodvibes I've seen it spelled so many other ways, but not too many "Jaci's" ;) Only one person in all of Disney got it right (she was wearing her bday button the whole vaca) Everybody else called her "Jackie". I don't get it!! You wouldn't say Lackie for Laci, or Trackie for Traci! :confused3:rotfl: We get it all the time around here too. And some want to pronounce it "J.C." instead I guess she will have to correct people all her life :)

I guess I have a different thought. First of all, I hope you get your stroller back...I know how expensive they are!

One time when we went to Magic Kingdom we brought a stroller. Our son was in that odd stage of not really needing a stroller, but we brought an inexpensive one. Before we left for the airport, we just left the stroller int he parking lot...in the hopes that someone else would need one.

Of course, our names were not on it...but we hoped someone might use it.

Saw this on the theme parks thread. Was it your stroller?

was at the MK yesterday.. When i was at the TTC, apparently someone had abandoned a stroller with a small soft side cooler and there was security with a bomb sniffing dog all over it...

Was it black with a gray seat??
I had a black, soft pouch/cupholder hanging from the handle. It could pass for a small cooler from short distance. I'm gonna call them again and question about this one. Someone could have "borrowed" mine for the rest of their stay...and left it too....with their cooler in it :confused3

My 13 yo DD middle name is Jaci. We pronounce it "J.C.". After my husband's and my first initials. How do you pronounce your DD's name?
