Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

I watched the part where the lawyer visited Hurley at the hospital online today (the abc website). When Hurley freaks out and the guys leaves the room through the door, you don't see him leave. You see a shadow or SMOKE leaving the room. Could the Smoke Monster be able to follow them around. I think this part is in the 3rd section.

My girls asked the same thing (about Charlie dying) and I explained that to them. They said, "So it's Desmond's fault!" I told them to just leave my Desmond alone! He did what he had to do and now he feels guilty about it. They cried everytime they showed Charlie, except when he appeared to Hurley. After that, they felt better (even though he's still dead).

Because in Desmonds vision, Charlie died and then the helicopter came. They both thought if Charlie didn't die the helicopter wouldn't come.

Well, that's just dumb! Bad writers, bad!
Couldn't he just cheat 'death' again? He did a bunch of times last season.

Could you please post a warning so that those that don't wish to read them can skip over them then?

Thank you!
I don't feel they are necessary as the warning is in the title of this thread. Those who don't want to see spoilers can skip the thread.

I can see you enjoy making friends. Do you not understand that there are degrees of spoilers? Please tell me why you can't just post a link. :confused3

Unfortunately, the actor who plays Charlie felt it was time to move on. I think the writers did a fantastic job of wrapping up Charlie's storyline. But, I am still bummed he had to die.

Well the title of the threadis Lost Season 4 *Spoiler* Thread NOT Lost Season 4 *Episode Summary* thread. Can't you just be considerate to others, and post a link?

I'm using a feature the DIS boards provides free of charge. It blocks posts by individuals, I place on it from my view and if I feel the need to read it I have the option of clicking on it. This way I won't see anymore episode summaries unless I chose to ;)

How do you do that?

Hey Guys! :wave2:

I'm new to this thread, but not to LOST! I love it! Even though sometimes it causes me much frustration, and makes me want to whack JJ Abrams in the head!

I've got a question for all you Lost aficionados. I apparently missed a bunch of episodes last season due to classes (stupid college, always gets in the way of the important things :lmao:)

Can someone explain to me the "flash forwards" going on? I was a bit confused as normally we just see flashbacks. Is this telling us they do get off the island, or what? And they kept referring to the Oceanic, six, I believe?

I mean if you somehow know the whole end to the series, I don't want to know, but a little insight could help clearing this up for me.

Thanks guys!

Really? :(
Well, I guess that makes sense. I'm still ticked about him dying though. This thread is good for me. I miss some of the small details and clues, not to mention the gossip. I need help to watch this show. :rotfl2:

Starting with last season's finale, the last episode before last night's premiere, they showed a flash-foward of Jack. You didn't find out it was a flash-foward until the last scene. Jack had been trying to call someone the whole episode, and it was revealed to be Kate at the end. Jack is screaming at her, "we have to go back." The flash-foward last night I believe took place before Jack's flash-foward.

It is rumored that six people make it off the end of the island. That's the Oceanic six that people keep refering too, which so far is at least Jack, Kate, and Hurley. I have some idea who the other three are, and we're supposed to know for sure who they are by the end of the eight episodes they have completed.

Also, there's supposed to be one more, which I think is Aaron, but as far as I know Claire doesn't get off the island, so I'm interested to see how that works out.

Interesting! Thanks. I'm really excited for this season. And since 24 isn't going to be on for a while, I'm going to need this thread to keep me sane!!

I think she means the ignore feature. Click on the poster's username to pull up his/her profile. Then look for something like "put this user on your ignore list".

Go into User CP - scroll down - there is a link for buddy/ignore list - click on it. Add the user's id to the ignore list.

Thanks for this info. I didn't know how that feature worked having never "ignored" anyone before. :)

I'm another person who really does not want to see an entire summary beforehand. I enjoy discussions about possibilities and theories and rumors, but that doesn't mean I want or need a play-by-play eliminating all elements of surprise. I don't understand the refusal to simply post the link instead so everyone can be happy??

Right before Charlie smashed the glass while Hurley was in the police station, you can see written on his hand "THEY NEED YOU".

Does anyone know what the spoiler with the number 6 is that had to be removed?

I just read a rumor/spoiler too about claire/aaron which makes me wonder if it's Aaron who gets off.

I've been reading some interesting spoilers today about each episode! I can't wait! :cool1:
