Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

To Amberdaclown:

Dark UFO doesn't like folks to copy her spoilers and post them elsewhere without the apporiate warnings. And really even though this is a spoiler thread I don't think the majority want the full episode posted like that. Even Dark doesn't post it clearly, you have to click on a spot that even then asks "Are you sure?" You should have at least warned folks of what you were posting.
I disagree. This IS a SPOILER thread. The thread title enough is a warning that there will be spoilers, even full ones. If you do not want to see spoilers, you probably shouldn't be reading this thread, IMHO.

DarkUFO has a bunch of different links besides spoilers.

Your post wasn't really a spoiler though, it was an episode summary.

Agreed and I think most of us posting on this thread since the summary was posted have expressed that we'd appreciate a link to the summary, rather than posting the whole episode here....or at least add a title to the post in bold "Episode Summary" so we don't inadvertantly read it. I don't see why it is such a big deal to give a warning or only post the link.

Episodes summaries before their air are in fact spoilers. IMHO, if you click on a thread that has SPOILER clearly in the title, you are going to read spoilers and episode information before it airs. I don't think it is fair or right to click on a thread titled SPOILER and then complain because you read a spoiler about something that has not aired.

Hurley's flash forward was interesting. It confirmed the Oceanic Six spoiler. It set up questions about the time frame between getting off the island and Jack's flash forward. I wonder if each of the six, as time and flash forwards allow, will come to the same conclusion - that they need to go back. I do think they are all going to want to go back and that they will return to the island before the show is over.

In terms of Hurley/Locke: I wonder if the circumstances play out that Jack offers a space to Hurley to go home even though Hurley sided with Locke and Hurley still feels guilty - or something similar.

I found Jack's Dad sitting in the chair at Jacob's house to be very creepy. I can't wait for them to explain Jacob and Christian.

I also thought the fact that Hurley could see and hear Jacob was very interesting.

Oh, how they love to play with our heads!!!

Thanks for only posting the link. Reading a play by play of the whole episode, IMO, ruins watching the episode. Spoilers that spark conversation I enjoy but the whole show is way too much for me.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched the whole thing and didn't notice that. OMG

bring them on!!!

C'mon, this is a spoiler thread!
I am glad I read about the next episode.
Half the time, when I watch the show I don't catch everything. This way, I am giving myself a preview and will probably understand the episode more when I watch it.

SO THANKS FOR POSTING THE EPISODE SUMMARY!!!!!!popcorn::

I can see both sides of the issue but I also think the episode summary is very easy to skip over or just post it in white. Either way I'm fine with it.

Is it really difficult for you to just post a link? I mean honestly, it's less work to post a link than to cut and paste several paragraphs. We understand this is a spoiler thread, but most of us aren't looking for a full synopsis of shows that haven't aired yet. No one's telling you not to post it, just put it in a link and let us know what it is.

Does anyone else think that there might be other people rescued besides the Oceanic Six? I'm thinking maybe Desmond and Juliet--they wouldn't be called part of the Oceanic Six because they weren't on the flight.

I have a feeling though that most people won't make it off the island--at least not this season. And the secret that the six are keeping is that there were Others on the island.

The spoilers I have read have indicated the Oceanic 6 plus one.

Fair or not it would be nice if a person posting an episode summary would simply mention that it is and give folks a heads up. There is a huge difference between a spoiler such as "it's Oceanic 6 plus 1" and a complete scene by scene summary of an episode. If you can't see that well, I know way to avoid your postings and still be able to read the thread. Later.

I enjoy the summaries because then I feel that I am able to go into more depth with the episode, but I certainly understand some not enjoying them.

Could you please post a warning so that those that don't wish to read them can skip over them then?

Thank you!

That summary actually confused me a lot. It seems to skip around a lot. But IMO it does go into detail, it even has when the commerical breaks are in the episode. TMI.

(Wonder if Patchy is REALLY dead this time?)
Did he "die" again? I might have missed something, but the last we saw Patchy, wasn't he was blowing up the window to flood the room Charlie was in? Being underwater, the blast didn't seem to harm anything but the window, so I thought Patchy would've just swam up to the surface after that.

I thought that he had to be dead, or at least missing an arm or something, because he was holding the grenade as it went off to get it to blow out the window.

And I don't get why Charlie had to die. He could have swam out the hole once the room filled with water, or Desmond could have just opened the door. They would have had enough time to grab the scuba gear that Patchy had, and swim to the surface together. Make no sense that he stayed in that room to drown. :sad2:

Because in Desmonds vision, Charlie died and then the helicopter came. They both thought if Charlie didn't die the helicopter wouldn't come.
