in a flash forward....Kate returns to her home and she cuddles her son, whom she calls Aaron......that leads me to believe that maybe Claire doesn't get off the island or she dies somehow.

Unfortunately, the actor who plays Charlie felt it was time to move on. I think the writers did a fantastic job of wrapping up Charlie's storyline. But, I am still bummed he had to die.

I think tonight's flashbacks are suppose to focus on when the plane crashed and I also think it will be related to the crew of the freighter.

In regards to posting the whole episode summaries, even Spoiler Fix, which is obviously a spoiler site, whites out the huge spoilers, (like when it's a main character's death,) and warns you before you highlight it.

Well there is a non-spoiler thread for people who don't want spoilers. As this is a spoiler thread, I don't think white outs or warnings are necessary. You can avoid this thread by not clicking on it as it has spoiler quite prominently in the title.

Speaking of:

Naveen Andrews has hinted in a radio interview that the Lost Island involves being in another dimension.

Also, tonight we get a pretty good clue as to why the freighter people can find the island when others cannot.

I wondered about that as well....I don't want to read entire episode summaries, but if somebody is posting a spoiler / rumor here, do you really need "inviso" text since it's the spoiler thread?

No need to white out regular spoilers, that's the purpose of the thread (though certainly nice of you to be so considerate). As it stands it seems episode summaries will not be linked, labeled or whited out as has been requested by numerous posters - so you will run a risk of reading them by visiting this thread.

ok we're not babies here. It's a spoiler thread so I know what to expect. But when I saw the whole show written up I knew that was something I didn't want to read so I skimmed over it.

Thanks Tiggeroo! I totally agree. When I saw the summary thread, I read the first few sentences and figured it wasn't something I wanted to read. So, I easily skipped to the next post. There are a lot of posts on this thread that I skip over. Some things I want to know, other things I don't. But, I know this is a spoiler thread when I click on it. So, if I read something I don't want to read, it is my own fault.

So, can we stop harping on the summary thread debate and continue on with the discussion of LOST?

I wouldn't say it's necessary. It might be considerate if it's a huge spoiler, like who dies, to white it out. What bothers me is that some posters consider a whole episode summary the same as a spoiler, and insist on not just posting a link, and feel they have to post the whole summary.
