LOL - YES!!

But, from the last minute - I don't gather that she CAN.

The way she kept yelling at Jack "I CAN'T LEAVE WITHOUT YOU"....maybe physically, she can't, or thinks she can't.

Remember the pacemaker mind game they played with Sawyer? Maybe during breakfast on the beach, something similiar was done with Kate? Something "implanted" into her that disallows her from going more than (eg) 1 mile from Sawyer and Jack....if she does, they die.....

Did anyone else think Benry's tumor was on his neck? I thought in previous episodes it mentioned it being on his neck.

Then it surprised me that Jack made the incision so low (close enough to the kidney to do whatever damage he did)

I thought they had said it was on his neck originally, but when they showed the x-rays at the beginning of the show it looked lower on them.


For the life of me I can't remember the story that Jack told Kate when she was sewing him up. Anyone?

Sawyer had told her that they weren't on THE island, which Jack doesn't know yet. So she could run, but she wouldn't get very far.

Jack said to Kate -When I was in residency my first solo procedure was a spinal surgery on a 16 year old kid, a girl. And at the end, after 13 hours, I was closing her up and I, I accidentally ripped her dural sac, shredded the base of the spine where all the nerves come together, membrane as thin as tissue. And so it ripped open and the nerves just spilled out of her like angel hair pasta, spinal fluid flowing out of her and I... and the terror was just so crazy. So real. And I knew I had to deal with it. So I just made a choice. I'd let the fear in, let it take over, let it do its thing, but only for 5 seconds, that's all I was going to give it. So I started to count, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Then it was gone. I went back to work, sewed her up and she was fine.
Kate claim she would have ran for the door.

I just thought she didn't want to leave Jack not that she couldn't. And the preview showed her turning around to hit the guy behind her so I think she at least tries to escape/run.

Thank you! I was going nuts trying to remember what Jack told Kate on the beach. The only thing I could come up with was something about him taking flying lessons.

I wonder why Alex asked to see Ben, and then before Ben went into surgery he asked if Alex asked to see him and Juliette told him "no". Maybe Ben isn't the worst person on the island?

I liked Juliet at first but I'm beginning to think she is evil. I think Ben is too, though. It's hard to tell which is worse!

And didn't someone say something about sending Alex "home?" I can't figure that out since I thought she lived with the Others. I'm getting so confused! If she isn't with them, then how did she get from one island to the other? Maybe the second island was some kind of illusion or trick to keep Sawyer in check?

That would be cool but I think Ben said something about the SUB. Although an underwater tunnel might be possible. It's two miles between the islands.

Sawyer told Kate that there are TWO islands, that the one they're on now isn't the island they crashed on. So Kate now knows that even if she runs, she really has nowhere to go.

Here are some of my thoughts:

The Surgery- Why does Ben even need this surgery b/c everyone else has been healed of their illness or condition since they landed on the island. Such as Rose's cancer, Sun and Jin's infertility, Locke's issues with his legs, etc. so why is Ben still sick?

The Passport- Kate had a passport with a different name on it back in season one. I can't remember the name that was used but I do remember Jack confronting her.

Walt and Michael- There is no way they were really allowed to leave, so what is going on with them?

The Island- I am having a hard time believing there are two island b/c they have used the raft and the boat to sail and they never noticed another giant island? I don't think so.

The Ocean- Remember when something in the water attacked the guys while they were on the raft? I am wondering if it could be the sharks that were originally in the holding area where Jack is at now. I want to know what was going on with the animals on the island. what experiments were they doing?

I had some other random thoughts that have escaped me now. I will try to post those later, if I remember them again!

And IF they really left, why haven't they asked the authorities of the first place they landed to send help to the island?

Also, the love scene between Kate and Sawyer was lost on me because I couldn't get past the fact that her arm pits were so clean shaven. I was totally distracted after that.

Here are some of my thoughts:

The Surgery- Why does Ben even need this surgery b/c everyone else has been healed of their illness or condition since they landed on the island. Such as Rose's cancer, Sun and Jin's infertility, Locke's issues with his legs, etc. so why is Ben still sick?

We THINK their illness has been cured. Locke thinks that, Rose feels that way. We don't KNOW they have been. It is possible that Sun's baby isn't Jin's. Locke's legs have failed on occasion. My personal opinion is that the magnetic force on the island has something to do with it because of the electro-magnetic stimulation machine he was hooked up too while on the phone with fake-Helen in season 1.

The Passport- Kate had a passport with a different name on it back in season one. I can't remember the name that was used but I do remember Jack confronting her.

That was JoAnna's the scuba diver that drowned's passport. I think she was going to take JoAnna's idenity when they were rescued.

Walt and Michael- There is no way they were really allowed to leave, so what is going on with them?

They are on the boat following the coordinates that Ben gave them. In lost world it has only been a few days since they left.

The Island- I am having a hard time believing there are two island b/c they have used the raft and the boat to sail and they never noticed another giant island? I don't think so.

The other island isn't giant, they've been compairing it to Alcatraz.

The Ocean- Remember when something in the water attacked the guys while they were on the raft? I am wondering if it could be the sharks that were originally in the holding area where Jack is at now. I want to know what was going on with the animals on the island. what experiments were they doing?

It was a shark with a Dharma logo on it so makes sense.
