LOST SEASON 3 **Official** Discussion/Speculation Thread (No Spoilers)

Yes and the person who had the gun on them was someone interesting.

I immediately thought it was Locke, but dh said no.......:confused3

While I cannot wait for next week's finale I do not want the season to end. I cannot imagine not seeing Lost unitl 2008!

Did anyone watch "LOST - The Answers" tonight? It was on at 9:15. I taped it and am watching it right now...so far they just seem to be recapping the Pilot episode :confused3

I taped it and watched it - pretty low on "answers." Not that I want to get them from a special, I'd rather them be revealed on the show. It was a nice recap of the season though.

They both kinda jokingly said again that its not purgatory.

Well, even The Monkees have a greatest hits album :rotfl2:

Come one now, the Monkees had more than one hit. ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of there being something weird about there being a greatest hits album from Drive Shaft. It was something in the way that Naomi (?) said it, kind of like the band was really huge, not a one hit wonder.

Also had me really wondering if in real "time" they had been gone only 3 months. Think about how big Aaron is, much bigger than a 3 month old, at least to me.

My DW said the same thing the other night when we were watching it. Is it intentional that he is gotten so big, or on oversight on the producers when casting?

So did anyone else watch the Lost answers show last night?

I found it interesting and helpful. It's a great way to get ready for next week's finale. It was remiinders of things that have happened and explanations of some things I didn't quite understand.

It was interesting to hear about the past 3 years through the eyes of the producers.

Not an oversight. They just don't allow newborns on TV. I think the youngest babies are hirable is 3 months. They'd have to cast a new baby each week to keep the kid the same size. Filming takes months. Each season is 30 days, filmed over 9+ months. Of course the baby will grow more in the real world.

Babies on TV are always bigger than the should be because of child labor laws.

I wouldn't 'read' anything into it.

X-posting from spoiler thread
I watched, however was falling asleep. I think Damon and Carleton are great and really help with understanding the mythology of the show. That is why I urge people to listen to their podcasts. While they 'pre-hash' the upcoming show they aren't really spoilery and so helpful!

Can't they sew or knit a little outfit for him??? Is Claire breastfeeding?

I also thought it was weird that Drive Shaft could have a greatest hits album when they were a one-hit wonder, and Charlie seemed to, too. :rotfl: I don't know, it could be a time-travel thing, or it could just be creative marketing on the part of the record company. :confused3

As for Aaron, it's not unusual for TV infants to look older than their role says they are. There are rules on how many hours a day an infant actor can be on the set, so they will often use older babies to play the part of younger ones.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but didn't they say something on last night's "Answers" show, about the space-time continuum? I think they were laughing, but I also thought it could have been a hint.

think in terms of the losties. where would they get knitting supplies? Someone handy I guess could sew an outfit if they had any of the sewing kits they found left but their weren't exactly baby clothes on the plane.

The others had some when they kept Claire. Maybe, they should steal those.

It has been mentioned before that Claire is nursing. How else would he eat?? There aren't any bottles or formula.

They made a few referances using the space-time continuum wording. I found that interesting as well. they said it I think at least twice or I caught it twice.
I also didn't realize I missed an episode until last night, when/what episode did they show the snow bound radar watchers pick up the signal of the island being there and called Penny?

That was the last episode of last season.

If Like Naomi said they found the plane and they were all dead, then how did Micheal and Walt explain their reappearance into the real world?:confused3
They did go home right? popcorn::

I think they are still cruising around in that boat trying to find the way home. :rotfl:

I must of been in the bathroom or something then :rotfl: because I saw the last show last yr
It was the very last scene, just a little short one. It would have been easy to miss. :)

The producers have said we should find out about their fate next season. I could post more, but it may be spoilerish....so I'll just leave it as we'll find out more next season.

Part one.... The greatest hits album...yeah a record company would market even a one hit wonder that way, but.....
Part two...if it does have to deal with the space time continuum...could drive shaft have been more then a one hit wonder?

Yes they did mention the Space Time Continuum last night...as close to the quote as I can remember...
L-"People keep thinking they are in some sort of purgatory."
C-"Yeah, but we've said before they are not dead."
L-"They are definately alivce somewhere in the space time continuum"

could all the theories of time travel be right....is it like the Bermuda Triangle??

My thing is would a one hit wonder band be considered rock stars the way Naomi implied? That was just a weird exchange to me and is sticking in my head. not sure why
