LOST SEASON 3 **Official** Discussion/Speculation Thread (No Spoilers)

I thought the episode was a little dull, but the end had me practically screaming at the TV I thought he was going to DIE!

Supposedly the last 5 minutes of the finale will "change everything." Well, that's what they said LAST year and they didn't follow up on that until the past few episodes with Naomi.

I'm guessing that the two women inside the looking glass will ultimately turn out to be friendly...

I think they are probably "others" who broke off from Ben and are opposed to whatever Ben is up to... with the looking glass being a home base for any of the women that were against the pregenancy experiments that were going on with the others.

didnt the preview show them beating the snot out of Charlie??....I mean I like it rough but dang.....:rotfl2:

Did anyone else notice when Charlie was talking to the Parachute lady and she told him about him being a rock star and them having a big memorial and a new album he had no clue about the new album....does this hint at some sort of time travel?

Oh and what doe we know about the Parachute lady...Naomi...I must have missed all the info about her...All I know is she parachuted on the island and her boat is 18 miles off shore. what else?

I don't think it has anything to do with time travel... she said the new album was a "greatest hits" album.

I think she said their new album was a greatest hits album, so they wouldn't need Charlie to put that out. Having said that, I do believe the show has something to do with time travel.

It was great seeing Rose and Bernard. I hope we see more of them next week.

I'm assuming since we didn't see Locke last night, he may turn up alive after all, at least that's what I'm hoping;)

Yeah but she said they made a big to do about him being a rock star and I doubt they got a greatest hits album out in the time he has been on the island...90 days right. He just seemed shocked by it all. it was just a weird conversation.

I was alos wondering about Rose and Bernard. Actually I had forgotten about them altogether. I hate when they do that. just more to think about and try to remember....:rotfl2:

On the contrary... I think putting out a greatest hits album in that short a time is exactly what a record company would do... they are capitalizing on Charlie's death and the publicity it generated to sell a record album. The record company would want to pump it out as fast as possible to take advantage of all the Drive Shaft nostalgia being generated by Charlie's death in the plane crash.

I can see that I guess. My actual point is he didnt even know or didnt seem to know he was a rock star. From what we have seen so far he isnt right or did I miss it in another season. I remember they were struggling with drugs last season he and his brother. I know last night they hinted at it but never shown or perhaps they made him a star after his death....If I am just Lost and confused set me straight.

No, Charlie knew he was a rock star. In the Pilot he tells Kate that he was part of Drive Shaft and sings part of their song to her. They were more of a "1-hit-wonder" kind of band and I think he was surprised about the recent success that Naomi talked about. Of course that success is due to Charlie's "death" and the greatest hits album that was put out because of it.

I do think that the island has something to do with time and, possibly, time travel but I don't think that applies to this situation with Charlie.

The only other thing we know about the parachute lady is that she speaks multiple languages.

I thought the episode was good, especially the ending.

After Walt, Michael, Claire, Jack, Kate and Sawyer being held hostage at some point, I really hope they don't do yet another hostage phase with Charlie.:sad2:

I was teary eyed when Charlie was making his list, especially #1:sad1:

weird that they put her on the island and then leave us hanging but I guess thats par for the course with show...right....Maybe we will get more about her next week.

I also fell Locke is gonna suprise Ben in someway next week. He will save the day somehow. just my gut feeling.

Also I re watched the show and does anyone else think Jack looks bad. He looks tired and worn out. Maybe its just me

Is anyone else wondering who Jack says "I love you" to next wk? Juliet or Kate? I am hoping it is Kate but i think it will be Juliet...:sad2:

I was in tears last night over the whole Charlie thing. His making a list of the happiest/best moments in his life, leaving his ring for Aaron - remember Charlie's brother said that Charlie was going to have a family and that Charlie should give the ring to his son.:sad1: I was really hoping Desmond would swim down to the Looking Glass hatch, but it just wasn't to be.

I don't think those women in the hatch are anti-Ben. If they were, they would probably have already disabled the jamming signal to hopefully get themselves off the island, right? Charlie's in for a fight.

As for Locke, I'm wondering if maybe the Losties will find him on their way to the radio tower. I don't think he's dead.

And I hate the way they rush through the previews! I'm busy trying to understand what just happened in the episode and then they fly through the previews and I have a hard time seeing everything!

I'm wondering if the boat off shore and telling them about the helicopter will get Charlie saved. Of course there can't be a rescue or the whole thing would be over.
