Dang it! I missed the beginning of the episode tonight and I NEED to know what happen to Boone!!!! Somebody tell me PLEASE!!!!

There were supposed to be 2 episodes last Wednesday night, but was one pre-empted for a special on the horrible destruction of Katrina.

In that episode, apparently a plane crashed on the island while Boone and Locke were trying to open the hatch in the ground. Locke's legs were becoming paralysed again, so when they discovered the plane on a ledge above them, he was unable to climb up to investigate it. Instead, Boone climbed up and discovered that the plane had been used to smuggle heroin. He makes his way to the cockpit to radio for help, but all of the moving around caused the plane to shift and fall from the cliff. Locke mysteriously got the use of his legs back at this point and carried Boone to Jack.

I just began watching the show with the Summer reruns myself, so in order to find out what I missed last week I used Google. There are episode guides posted on ABC's site.

I think it is because Locke doesn't want everyone knowing about the hatch in the ground and knew that the less information he offered about what they had been doing the better.

I watched it when it originally aired, so I will do the best I can. Locke and Boone found a plane that had crashed a while ago stuck in a tree. Locke was going up, but he was having trouble walking, so Boone did. He climbed the tree and was looking around, found drugs hidden in statues, then went to the front of the plane, and the radio was still working and he heard someone talking, so he ran up the the radio. Then I am pretty sure he heard someone say something like, "Mayday, We are the survivors of Flight (whatever the flight was)" Boone was understandably confused as that was his flight, then the plane fell out of the tree.

Ok, so it just keeps getting more confusing huh? So I guess that means that the other part of the plane is somewhere else? But how do they have a radio. Oh crap, never mind, I never should have started watching this show. LOL

No, this wasn't part of their plane. The one they found in this show was a smaller crop duster type plane that was used by drug smugglers. It was in tact in the tree...until it fell out that is.

that plane wasn't their plane, you are right, but the mayday call from the radio was from someone who claimed to be on same plane that they crashed on the island from

See, that's the part that's confusing me. OK, now on to the next episode tonight, what the heck was the French lady talking about? Who's coming??? UGH! This show is killing me! LOL

we don't know who the French Lady is talking about, she has always just said they. I don't know if it is people that crashed with her, or people that were there before. Part of the intrigue of the show is that so much is unknown.

We also don't know anything more about what Boone heard on the radio, as he wasn't able to tell anyone, so noone, not even Locke knows that part.

I love the fact that so much is unknown, but at the same time it's driving me flipping crazy!!!! LOL

The new season starts when? Next week? Is this episode the season finale?

I think that there were 24 episodes, they didn't think it was going to do this well, they had only made like 12, and had to scramble to make the other 12 when they realized how well it did. I don't think they showed every single episode this summer, I think they have skipped some episodes. Next week is the finale, it was sort of in 2 parts. The 10 o'clock tonight is the first hour, then next week is the end of the finale, I think that might be 2 hours. Then it airs starting the 21st.

Thanks for the catch up. I didn't watch it this winter but DS did. So I am watching it now and he is trying to explain waht I missed and fills in the blanks.

it is very easy to miss things, a friend/co-worker and I were watching it every week and discussing it, and there were always things that one of us caught that the other missed.

It is very hard to follow, but it doesn't matter, I'm still sucked right in to it! LOL

Thanks guys. Me and DH were trying so hard to figure out why we missed stuff. There was one (or was it 2?) other time when we know we missed an episode, I guess they somewhow skipped another one. It was when Claire went missing. Then they weren't looking for her and then she was back. So what all happened there? I saw that they found (crap, what's his name?) hanging, and they saved him, but after that they stopped looking. Why? And what happened with Claire? How come no one was looking for her? I saw her wonder back. I'm sure there is a lot that they didn't show about what happened, but does anyone know if I missed anything? I know there had to be an episode missing.

Was last you saw was where they found Charlie hanging from the tree, did you see any other episodes before Claire returned,

and on that note, did you see the one where she came back, or not

I watched the episode where Boone gets hurt on DVD last night. He didn't hear a distress call on the radio, he made the distress call on the radio. What he heard was someone repeating the info back to him or at least that is what I could pick up. It was full of static.

I couldn't stand that they skipped so many episodes over the summer so I bought the DVD set on Tuesday. I watched all the episodes that were skipped and then some. I only have to watch the last two before I'm ready for season 2. I also want to watch the behind the scenes stuff and then I will sell the set on Ebay. :teeth:

he started the distress call yes, but the other person wasn't just repeating him, the other person was also saying they were survivors of Flight 815, which was his flight
