"Lost" question

Thanks guys. Me and DH were trying so hard to figure out why we missed stuff. There was one (or was it 2?) other time when we know we missed an episode, I guess they somewhow skipped another one. It was when Claire went missing. Then they weren't looking for her and then she was back. So what all happened there? I saw that they found (crap, what's his name?) hanging, and they saved him, but after that they stopped looking. Why? And what happened with Claire? How come no one was looking for her? I saw her wonder back. I'm sure there is a lot that they didn't show about what happened, but does anyone know if I missed anything? I know there had to be an episode missing.

It is really hard to just explain what happened. There is so much going on that even if you watch it more than once you could miss things, I would suggest renting it and watching the ones you missed, or at least going to ABC.com and looking through the episode quide before the season starts, but the only way to really catch up is to watch ALL the episodes

OH that makes so much more sense now!! I have been so 'lost'! We've been watching them for the first time this summer and there seems to be alot of parts that tv has skipped or that we've missed. I'm going to have to break down and buy the dvd just so I can watch them all in order!

Ok, now I bought the DVD

I watched the last episode and now I have more questions! Ack! Can someone point me in the direction of a spoiler thread? When I was browzing through the episode booklet though, I realized that there were about 6 episodes that I missed through the reruns!
