Does anyone besides me think that Michael Emerson is just one of the most amazing actors ever? He is incredible.

By the way, wasn't Michael supposedly coming back in some way this season? I thought that I'd heard this a long time ago. We are wishing for Daniel Faraday and Ecco but haven't heard anything about them.

Richard wanted to die because he as been on the island since the Black Rock came to the island and Jacob gave him eternal life and said he would answer his questions at some point. Now that Jacob is dead he thinks he will never get the answers so he wants to end it all. This all relates to the scene where MIB took Richard from the beach into the jungle and asked Richard to join him. MIB said that Jacob had just strung Richard along all this time, and that he would never do that and would answer his questions. While Richard chose not to follow MIB it did plant the seed that Richard had been used and thus made him want to die as shown in last nights episode. Jacob asks things of people and promises answers in the future in return. MIB is really playing on that in his recruitment of followers for his team by saying I will answer your questions, and the island is just an island and we are getting off.

As far as Witmore coming to the island last night I think he is answering a MIB call and that is how MIB is planning to leave the island. I still think the person Jacob said was coming is Desmond.

Well we know number 108 is Wallace. it's the only other name besides the Losties that isn't crossed out. So I think Wallace is on the sub...whoever Wallace is and that's who Jacob is referring to.

Great thought about Widmore coming to get the MIB crew. I missed what was actually said in the sub. I know the guy said, "There's people on the beach!" But that was about all I caught.

Don't forget....Jacob also touched Kate and Sawyer as children, Jack in the hospital, Sayid when Nadia was struck by the car, Hurley in the taxi, and Sun & Jin at their wedding. Are they now ageless like Richard?

As far as I know, Jacob did NOT touch Charlie. I know, we all miss Charlie and want him back alive!

Hey, I'm the first to post after last night's episode; that doesn't happen too often. I have a ton of work sitting here, but I just had to say…..

WOW! Great to see Ben as the good guy for a change! Neat to see Alex pop up again - I hadn't heard that she would be on this season. And more Artz! I'm glad Ben decided to stay with Ilana and the "good guys". Repent/redemption? I just hope that Ben has turned the corner and is now a good guy.

It's funny because I watched CSI: Miami right before watching Lost and Artz was a guest star.

You are not alone, I really enjoy Michael Emerson and think he is the best actor on Lost. I totally loved last night's episode, I found the whole scene in the jungle with Ilana to be fascinating, redemption has finally come for his guilt over Alex.

I wouldn't think they would bring Ecco back, since they killed him off because he was hard to work with. I would love to see Faraday again though, I didn't like when they killed him.

Great episode. I loved seeing Alex, too. And Ben's dad. He didn't resent Ben for his mother's death the way he did in the first timeline. Wonder if she still died in childbirth. Seems like she would have since the time split was after Ben was born.

I wouldn't think they would bring Ecco back, since they killed him off because he was hard to work with. I would love to see Faraday again though, I didn't like when they killed him.

Both of his parents had just died and he found it very difficult to live in Hawaii so far away at the time. He got in some legal troubles (nothing major), but it all stemmed from his parent's recent deaths.

Oh, and he asked them to kill him off. It wasn't the other way around.

At first I thought Sun's reaction to Hurley and Jack was a bit overdramatic, until I realized, this is the first time she is seeing them since they got on the plane to go back. Do we have any idea how long they have been back on the island? It's only been a few days, maybe a week, right?

Any idea how Alex would be in the states going to school? Her mother was French, correct?

Yes, her mother was very french. Or as Hurley called her "crazy french chick". Her last name was still Rousseau, but no idea why she was there. She said her mom worked two jobs to make ends meet.
