True -- but that visit was prompted by the adult Locke (after Jacob touched him, and possibly resurrected him from the dead when he fell eight stories) when he time-traveled back to the 1950s and told Richard of his date of birth.

As I posted on the other thread, if they pull this, I'm calling Verizon right away to make the switch to FiOS. And I intend to call Cablevision to tell them so.

Why would it be hokey? Lost has always had biblical references.

OMG, I was so tired when I posted that I was only thinking of the game and how he was trying to keep his footing. Please forgive my seriously sleep deprived moment. I'm just now getting back here to catch that error, which makes it even better.

ETA- Please keep this thread spoiler-free. I'm sure many of the same things are being discussed on both threads right now but having a specific spoiler-free thread means we don't have to worry about some one accidentally posting something they meant to make white, or seeing things in responses, etc...

I'm a big Lost fan from the beginning, but this is my first time posting on this thread. Anyway, my favorite theory (and this isn't originally my theory -- just one that I heard that I really like) is that Jacob and MIB are the same person, just the good/evil sides of that one person. Remember Superman III, when Lex Luthor tries to make Kryptonite, but doesn't know what one small ingredient is? And this fake Kryptonite makes Superman evil? And then good Superman and evil Superman duke it out in the junk yard? Yeah, I think it is like that. Reminds me of my favorite Mark Twain quote: "Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody." Except that we are seeing Jacob's dark side in MIB.

Wow, Flocke really went on a rampage there. Surprised to see how many people left the temple and went to him. Should be really interesting to see where he leads them now and what happens to them. Loved the looks between him and Claire and Sayid last night. Still hoping they are good and not what we are being led to believe about them.

I thought it was an awesome episodes...one of those ones you need to go back and watch again right away.

I loved Psycho Sayid. and OMG Ben's face when he found Sayid! Made me wonder if maybe he had seen that look in someone else's eyes before.

I can't believe that Flocke is the good guy. Good guys don't go all smokey and go on homicidal rampages.

Tho, I don't feel like Jacob is all good either. Good shouldn't do so much manipulating.

DH said last night that he thinks the flash sideways are what happened when the bad guy won...which is true in some ways. He was thinking more along the lines that he WILL win and then the sideways flashes are what will happen. I think they just show what would have happened if Jacob hadn't interfered with their lives.

Anyone else think that Sayid choose evil when he decided to stab Flocke? That the true test wasn't that he should do what Dogen said? Though Dogen's comments latter don't really jive with that. I do think Dogen knew that Sayid was going to kill him.

Oh and Miles' lines--the one about Sawyer and then the one about Claire ("she's still hot though")

I didn't think that way when I was watching but I think you could be right. Especially about Dogen knowing Sayid would kill him. Maybe he did something similar with Claire and she tried to kill him too. IDK.

I actually thought back to right before Claire got abducted (?) by Christian (?). When Sawyer, Miles and Claire were walking through the jungle. And Miles kept looking at Claire funny and Sawyer noticed and told him to back off. I know some people online thought it was because Claire had died in the house explosion and Miles was noticing because of his abilities. And when he said she was hot, I thought maybe thats the explanation for why he was looking at her and not because she had died. Okay, now that I typed all that out I'm thinking its a crazy theory

Re: the look Miles gave Claire when they were walking through the jungle last season---wasn't that the same look he gave about Sayid when Sayid was lying there dead. Maybe he can't detect their souls.....or there is something wacky about their "aura" because they have changed to the dark side.

I think the threatened cut off is midnight Saturday. The timing is significant, since the Oscar's are the next night.

Loved the episode last night.
Sayid had such a variety of facial expressions last night. Him and Claire with Flocke at the end were so creepy. Its going to be interesting to see how Kate handles being with the psycho group. When will Sawyer be pulled into the psycho group.
Will Kate be able to turn Claire back to normal through the love of Aaron? I think we will see Kate show a picture of Aaron to Claire at some point.
I think Ben saw himself in Sayid when they met. I think we are seeing Ben turn into a better person.

Where was Jin during the temple battle? He was supposed to be helping Claire get there. Only 10 episodes left - how much longer until Jin and Sun are re-united?

I'm really happy with many of the actors in this show. Ben and Sayid have played such a range of emotions.

Just 2 little comments from last night's episode:

I hope Claire doesn't kill Jin because he lied about lying where Aaron is. Kate told Claire so now she knows Kate had Aaron.

I was surprised to see Flocke, Claire, and Sayid walk away from the temple at the end. I thought Claire was convinced that Aaron was in the temple. Shouldn't she be asking questions about where he is?

Not sure he will -- I believe Sawyer is running a long con on Old Smokey.

Somehow, I think the key to reaching Claire (who Claire used to be, at least) is Charlie's ring -- currently in the possession of Sun.

I am very late at jumping in here for season 6, but I agree with this. Ben looked at him, and said "ok, I'm outta here"! Can't say I blame him, I am not liking Sayid anymore.

I was dying trying to figure this out last night, I bet you guys can remember. Why was Sayid in Australia originally? I remember why everyone else was there, but we could not recall his original purpose in Australia.
