Who is rooting for Charlie and Claire after last night's little moment?

I've been rooting for Charlie and Claire for a long time now!! He is so adorable!!! I was yelling at him last night, when he wouldn't go for a walk with her "but you love her"!!! I totally need a life.

I love Hurley too, he is adorable as well, in a watchful big brother kind of way, DUDE.

I also was wondering why they didn't kill the boar for food! I know it has meaning...that it was a good think Sawyer didn't just kill it, but aren't they hungry?!!

The guy told Sawyer he didn't have to shoot him, he would have paid. Then Sawyer realized he'd been set up by the man in the motel room. Evidently the shrimp guy had borrowed money from the man in the motel room so he made up the story so Sawyer would kill him. Then right before the shrimp guy died, he told Sawyer it would come around.

THANK YOU for clearing that up! I was totally confused on that one too.

I, for one, have not been dissapointed in an episode yet. Hello - Sawyer (aka - james) got so much face time last night...loved it.

Can someone please refresh my memory - how did Jack's father die? And where did Jack find him?

Also - remember when we had Boone's backstory and we saw sawyer being hauled in? Ok - what did he do and, if it was that bad - how did he get out of jail?

Yes - Sawyer was drinking 2 different bottles.

Is Sawyer that hungry? I am sure he has lots of food stashed in his suitecase of goodies

Jack's dad was found dead (was it in his hotel room or in an alley - I forget) - I think they thought it was a heart attack or he drank himself to death...

I don't think the backstory episodes are that boring at all. I think they will all weave themselves together in the end - to show the reason they are on the island to begin with. Like I have said in the past - if they start giving you answers to everything in the first season they have no case to extend the show to the network - I am not expecting too many answers before the end of season 1 and I expect a huge cliffhanger at seasond end

NOTE - I am staying away from spoliers and such - so this is all just my opinion.

02/16 - Next Wednesday we'll see the Daniel Dae Kim episode. And I hear we're going to be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

02/14 - Charlie is not the one who will die. But I can tell you that this person is well-loved, well-featured and well, doomed. It is one of the fourteen series regulars -– one of the BIGGEST characters -- and the episode is guaranteed to make you bawl your ever-lovin’ eyes out. It's a boy who dies. Basically, something catastrophic happens, and because someone LIES about what happened, ultimately, they are unable to be saved. [We will see Claire pop her baby in an] episode that will be all about the circle of life. [We will also find out who Ethan was.] Ian Somerhalder recently said: "Something's coming up for my character and it's definitely going to change the exp of the island, gonna change what we know of the island and what we think of it, and that's huge." Matthew Fox: "Jorge's episode will have a sequence of numbers in it that will be very very significant." Jorge: "Look at tv within tv. wink, nod, that's all you get." From what the spoiler says, I think I know who it is, too.

There were lots of "tips" in that spoiler...I might have to make me a notecard so I can remember what to look for in the next few episodes.
