This show is really starting to **** me off. Yes, I know about the drama, but just ONCE I would love to get the whole story on something! If it keeps at this pace I will probably grow tired of the show, which would be a shame since I really enjoy it.

I agree...last night was more frustrating than enjoyable. I won't last thru too many more shows like last night.

I'm not sure what to make of last night, but I am not bored!!!! I love all the unanswered and new questions. Frustrating but fun. Poor Charlie, he broke my heart last night.

I think they are definitely looking at Sayid and Shannon. Could work. Last night was the first time I felt sorry for her, when she told Sayid she was completely useless. I'm betting she's been told that all her life and believes it. If that was her singing, she has a beautiful voice. I knew it was Beyond the Sea when she was singing it. Is that at the end of Nemo?

Not sure what to make of Kate either. At first I thought, oh no, she really is a criminal. Then she shot those guys and now I'm not sure anymore.

What a riot when Sawyer was trying to break open that case!!! Looks like next week we might get more answers as to what Locke and Boone found. Maybe someone can find Claire??? Please??? I don't know if the monster will get Shannon, looked to me like she got caught in some kind of trap, like Sayid did.

Wow! I guess I'm in the minority but I thought last night was great. I like how there aren't a bunch (or any) answers. Too much too soon would stink (IMHO). Anyway, I don't mind Jack being upset with Kate. I kept thinking back to the Marshall who told Jack not to believe anything she said. I've never seen anyone lie so much. I like the secret agent theory though, whoever mentioned it. Good one.

Also, I don't think they dropped the secret door thing, they mentioned Locke & Boone have been going into the jungle for 4 days now. Boone took the axe to Locke, maybe they are just trying to get the door open. What about Shannon asking if Locke is his new boyfriend? Is Boone gay? I really like Shannon. I never really disliked her, I want to see her backstory. I have a feeling her childhood wasn't so great. I liked the chemistry between her & Sayid. She a good actress.

I watched Lost for the first time last night and I have to say I'm hooked! It was very good. I haven't read through this entire thread yet, so maybe you've already put some of the pieces together, but I thought it was very interesting that the item she wanted so badly was a little toy plane, of all things.

I can't wait for next week's show! It's been a while since there has been a t.v. show that I must see week after week.

I hope this series doesn't turn out like X Files. It started out really great and then meandered all over the place. It never really wrapped things up and I was totally lost through the final seasons.

I hope the writers really have a plan and are not just tossing things out as they go. The writers of the X Files admitted that they didn't have a conclusion to that series.

I really love the show. I had the same thought that Kate may be some type of secret agent and using the robbers. She had too much skill at shooting (and it doesn't look like she was shooting to kill anyway) not to mention if she was just simply a bank robber who only wanted in one safe box why would they have to expedite her back to the states (especially if she didn't steal any money). I think that the plot will reveal that she was an agent who fell in love with another agent (possibly lover was a double agent) and that Kate gets bagged with some sort of treason after her lover dies (wherein she is blaming herself). I think the toy plane is going to turn up in a future episode wherein the final message from her lover will be revealed in some sort of conversation they had between them.

I like the Sayid and Shannon thing too. I hope that Shannon becomes more indepth over time instead of the shallow teenager type they have her playing now. Her character urkes me. As for Charlie, I felt bad for him and was glad when the lady (forgot her name) came over and told him he needed help. On the other note, I am also glad to see this black lady back (can't think of her name), I just mentioned two weeks ago that they haven't shown her character in several weeks (or at least the last 4 shows) and I was hoping that they weren't going to push her character to the background. I think that we will eventually see her husband as she keeps mentioning that he is alive.

I, like someone else, was confused by the opening. Poor Claire, I can't wait for them to bring her back on and what she may recall. This show just sucks you in.

I loved how Shannon said she was forced to watch "that fish movie" over and over again -- cute tie in to Disney!

There is just so much going on here that an hour can't handle it. I think they are still out there looking for Claire, but the trail is cold and now they've got the whole wave thing going on. Plus Boone and Locke are SUPPOSEDLY looking for her (although theya re digging up that "thing"). I'm wondering why Sawyer or Kate didn't say anything about the couple who were in the lake/waterfall. What was the marshal's case doing there -- wedged under the seat if he'd had to check it?

And the Rose/Charlie bond is very nice. Loved how the show ended with her comforting him with prayer.

Boone was on a local radio station here yesterday and said next week will be his "flashback" episode, he also mentioned that we will find out more about what he and Locke are looking for, he was pretty vague (because he can't reveal too much) in his interview, but that's what I gathered ! He also said he never knows what's going to happen week to week either !

I've heard the song she was singing before, "La Mer". I didn't tie it into "Beyond the Sea" though. Yes, that is the song that's played at the end of Nemo. I thought it was funny that she said that. I wondered if she was talking about Nemo.

DH and I have just gotten into this show, and we LOVE it! A good friend let us borrow her tapes (she's taped all the shows), so we are all caught up. It was hard last night not to be able to go ahead and watch the next episode after it aired! LOL We have to wait until next week. I have to say that I think this show is the best on t.v. right now next to Alias!

I like the theory that you had about Kate, yekats! You could be onto something. Kate is just way too tough and knowledgeable to not be some sort of agent. I also like the storyline between shannon and Sayid. I'd like to see more depth to Shannon. Also looking forward to finding out about Hurley.

We wondered that too, but I think she lied about it being checked for some reason. Isnt' that the case that fell out of the overhead and hit the marshall and knocked him out?

I think Shannon is older than a teenager. I'm guessing 24 maybe? Boone said he runs a company and Shannon spent a couple of years in Paris with a guy with a kid. I can't wait to see their story.

I can't wait for Hurleys either, although I can't imagine what it could be, he is just the most normal goofy guy. I read he was only supposed to be a background character, but they liked the actor so much they made him a main character.

I also can't wait for Hurley and Shannon's backgrounds. Sometimes the people who seem the most normal have the most interesting stories.

And next week's episode they have Boone telling Sayid to stay away from Shannon. I must have missed something from a previous episode. I didn't know Boone didn't like Sayid?
