Overall last night's episode was okay but it didn't compare to last week's episode. I thought it was slow moving and honestly I could have done without so much of Jack and his dad. I hope we get back to finding out more about some of the other characters. Now the waiting begins...

I'm glad that they had the interaction between Dad and Jack. Now it makes it clear why Dad killed himself and why Jack had such a hard time over it - guilt wise. The father was wrong asking his son to lie - when Jack told the truth, that's when he killed himself.

My whole family throught I was crazy when I was yelling at the tv

Lost Goes Lost

With ABC landing an unexpected hit with the show, the network has quickly realized that 13 episodes just aren't enough. The standard mentality over the past few years with ABC was to give shows 13 at the start of a season and see what happens, as previously done with Push, Nevada, L.A. Dragnet, and Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. If the show fails, it's canned within 6 (unless under contract like Kingdom Hospital).

What does this mean for Lost? Well, in order to fuel the fire they have going for them, they need more episodes, and they need time to film them. So for those of you who haven't seen the entire series so far, this is your lucky time of year as the show goes on temporary hiatus. Starting December 15th, the show will rerun from the Pilot (in full), and continue down the line until the target date of February. From there, they'll start with Episode 11 called "Whatever The Case May Be" and finish out the season on time in May with however many episodes they decide to finish off the season with.
Now mind you, I don't believe this entirely. I think they are gone until January 5th with the Alias run -but thought I'd share.

Now this I believe:

A new article in the New York Daily Times says that LOST will return in January 5 as a lead-in to the two-hour season premiere of ALIAS.

Of course, "Special" is really the 14th episode, so I think the schedule is:

January 5: Whatever the Case May Be (Episode 12)
January 12: Hearts and Minds (Episode 13)
January 19: Special (Episode 14)

Just wanted to say that I heard a DVD of Season 1 is already in the works with BONUS material! (BONUS MATERIAL!!!! Woo Hoo!). Apparently they've been shooting the series with the DVD thought in mind!

OK all you Josh people. Here's your daily fix:

ABOUT JOSH:
Josh Holloway was born in Northern California but moved after only two years to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, where he was raised the second-eldest of four boys. From an early age he discovered a passion and love for films. After one year at the University of Georgia, he embarked on a successful modeling career which took him all over Europe and North America.

Holloway's pursuit of acting brought him to Los Angeles, where he soon landed a role in the comedy "Doctor Benny," opposite Eddie McClintock and Sarah Wynter. He followed that up with lead roles in the independent films "Mi Amigo," "Moving August" and "Cold Heart," in which he starred opposite Nastassja Kinski. He then gained considerable notice for his lead role in the Sci-Fi channel's "Sabretooth," with David Keith and John Rhys-Davies. Most recently he guest starred on "CSI" and "Navy NCIS."

Holloway's hobbies include boating, sailing, snowboarding, martial arts, motor cross and playing guitar. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Personally - I am an Ian (Boone) fan:

I'll keep Charlie but Sawyer is a close second with Boone in 3rd

I too am interested in watching the first couple of episodes over again to pick up on clues. After about show 6 I realized they probably had dropped clues and hints along the way and we just hadn't noticed. I have to give the tv execs at ABC real credit in getting this show on the air. One of the best new/unique series since the original CSI.

As for the names idea. I wonder if we are just reading too much into things or if the creators and writers really used a play on words and names. A DVD with behind the scenes would be awesome!!

I hope we don't have to wait until February for a new episode. There is no way that I believe that what we have seen is the season finale. It is just too popular for ABC to give up the viewership it is getting. As far as them just now deciding to film more episodes - I feel that they knew well before this point that they had a winner.

OMG I thought that Charlie was going to die on his birthday! My friend and I kept saying that if he died we would write to J.J. Abrams and complain...hehe...

anyways...I thought I'd share some of my favorite pics, seeing how there won't be a new episode for a few weeks...

ok that's all for now :flower1:

Don't know if it's anything new or not - but we did notice that the sightings of "it" in the woods were mostly occuring when there was some turmoil going on in camp. Also - the sightings seemed to stop after Locke saw "it".

I love the first pic of Charlie, it sums up the show in one image. He looks so "lost".

PLEASE TELL NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND LOST IS ON TONITE............
CAN'T WAIT....................

Is everyone ready? It's on here in about 25minutes and I can't wait!!! It feels like forever since the last new episode!
Just a bump up in case anyone could have possibly forgotten!

20 minutes now, but i have to wait until the boys go to bed. I'm putting them down early :cool1:. I'll have to go back and read some of the recaps. I can't even remember what was going on when we left off.
