tvtome.com has the synopses of the next two episodes on their web site. Just so no one who wants to avoid spoilers gets spoiled, I'm not going to copy and paste them here. The link will take you right to their page on Lost. I'll just say that the one for the 19th looks to be interesting.

I wonder if the producers have things planned out and this will be a finite series, like was done with Babylon 5, and will come to a conclusion after 3-4 seasons. In this day where TV shows see high sales on DVD, it's entirely possible. Personally I'm finding the ride to be a great one.

I read these spoilers and a few others. It looks like February is going to be very interesting too!

Count me in as one that enjoyed last nights episode. I thought it was good. This show has been so high quality as far as plot twists and turns that I think people are holding it to a much to high expectation. One episode you weren't blown over with is way too early to start thinking about throwing in the towel.

I never got the impression that they dropped the Claire story. Locke and Boone were continuing to search for her. Jack and Kate were the ones that found Charlie and took him back to camp and they were focused on more this episode. Had the episode been more focused on Locke or Boone I'm sure we would have seen more details of the search for Claire.

Anyway, my take on Kate's flashback is a little different. I noticed that she and the bank manager seemed to be hiding that they knew each other right before the bank was robbed. They seemed to be talking in a familiar tone. I think that Kate was in it with the bank manager and hooked these guys into robbing the bank with the intention of double crossing the rest of the robbers. When it looked like they might flip out and kill the manager she took them out. So my take on it is that there is a connection between Kate and the bank manager.

They were not searching for her. They just told people that. They are still looking at the the "thing" they found but they don't want to tell anyone yet, which is why Boone and Locke are going to have an issue next episode.

I said exactly the same thing to my husband!

I thought this episode went a little slower in places, but it won't keep me from watching. My husband thought it was strange that Sawyer jumped into the lake with his jeans on, but I told them that they needed to keep their PG rating!

Yeah, he had to keep his pants on but Kate was wearing those teeny tiny undies or bikin bottoms. I guess Kate has found her luggage, since all her clothes since the first couple of epsiodes, fit like a glove. I guess she has found a razor too LOL, she needs it for those bottoms she wore.
I kept saying Sawyer needs to tighten his belt, he was about to lose those pants .

Why was there very little mention of missing Claire? Why are there so many freaky things with this flight? Why would Kate kill for a little model plane? Why didn't Sawyer take his pants off? Why was Kate climbing a tree in a thong? Why didn't Sawyer take his jeans off? Why is Sawyer so hot? Is Boone gay? Can I have a hot love scene with Sawyer? What happened to the Iron Giant? Where has Rose been since the pilot episode?

Sawyer will have more flashback episodes. In one we will see that he was in the same room with another survivor...His big second flashback will be in February and in that same episode something is supposed to happen that will blow the loyal viewers minds. I wonder if this involves Sawyer or is just going to happen on his flashback episode.

I just kept remembering the "hot kiss" episode when he walked out of the ocean naked

Besides being incredibly hot, he gets the best lines in the show.

BTW, I loved when he told Kate he was protecting her (by following her) and she said "from what, southern perverts?"

I have the episode taped. I'm going to go back and look. OMG that would really "blow my mind". It made me think of something else, but it might be better to continue this discussion through PM because I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I'll PM you after I look.
