Yes, until midnight of your checkout day (unless you had your departure day dropped from your ticket).

They are good from the day you check in until the day you check out. You can drop a day from them at the beginning or the end of your stay if you want to. For example, if you get in late on the day you check in (let's say 6:00 pm) and you want to drop the first day, you can and it will save you money.

Yes if that is the way that you purchase them. If you have an early flight (or are planning on departing early) you can have that day removed when you purchase the tickets (same at the begining, if you arrive later you can have the first day removed) first and last day can be modified to accomodate your travel arrangements. If you want to have it start on the first day and end on the last day you can...

If you purchase UPH tickets as part of a package, you cannot drop a day. That is possible only if you buy the tickets at check in and of course if you do that, you pay gate prices (not the advance purchase price). Many times, it's close to a "wash" - dropping a day at gate price vs an extra day at the advance purchase price.

I don't know about dropping a day while keeping the rest of the package, but you can make separate reservations for the first or last day if you want. In Jan, we didn't arrive until 10:30 p.m., so we just booked the first night as room-only. We started our package on the next day. We did have to re-check-in (you can do this as early as 7 am) to get our keys activated, but those extra 10 min. saved us some $ - definitely worth it
