los cabos?

I know this is off the subject but I am planning on taking my wife to los cabos for a surprise anniversary trip. I was curious to see if anyone had any suggestions regarding a resort to stay at? I remember seeing a hotel with small pools on the second floor balconies in a magazine when I stayed at the Loews on Coronado Island but I can't remember the name of the place. I don't think there are any concierge collection swaps in Los Cabos.

There are no resorts in that area and on the II-DVC exchange list that are comparable to DVC from what I can gather. I'd look for a rental or direct exchange using less than the points required through II.

We are going in March to Los Cobos. It will be the first time we have ever been to Mexico. We had no problems getting the hotel with our points. In fact we were able to swap our place within the week we requested it. When I asked if we were able to request the hotel we wanted and they said "no". There were only 2 hotels to choose from. We are staying a Villa Del Palmar. I have looked up things about it on-line and it looks very nice. I hope you find a nice place to stay and have a great trip.
