Loosen your belt buckle-We're doing Deluxe Dining!Our 12/10 PTR!Update 12/18 TR Start

I love the swag bag... I would love to make it to one of those events but they re never when I am there :(

The event was great! Hopefully one day you will be able to make it to one! The only reason we were lucky enough to go is because we live in the crummy, way too hot state!

What a fun night and swag bag. Those treats look super tasty!!

The treats were VERY yummy! i really didn't eat too much (thankfully), I just nibbled on a little bit of everything! The people at the table with us were letting their kids eat as much as they wanted and it showed! The little girl at 2 whole popsicles, drank 2 cans of coke and had a Mickey bar!!! :scared1:

Fun night! I love all the stuff that say MickeyMomsClub. I feel like the president of some swanky society or something.... :lmao:

I know exactly what you mean!!! I love all the stuff I get from the MMC! We got the big red party box earlier this year and had a blast with that!

cute pics!!! Those were some yummy treats!!!!

They were yummy and I could have done some damage without self control! :rotfl:

Olivia looks like she had a great time with all those treats! Do you know I have yet to try a Mickey rice krispy treat?

Hope she feels better for Disney on Ice! :goodvibes

Never had a Mickey rice krispy treat :scared1::scared1: i insist that you get at least one on your trip!!!!

Thank you! She seems to be feeling much better today, but now my sinuses are killing me!!

Too cute. Loved the pic of Olivia with the popsicle. All the treats look yummy.

Hope she feels better by Saturday!

I love the popsicle pic too! It is actually hanging in our kitchen. Thanks, she seems to be well on the road to recovery!

Just joining your PTR! Thanks for accepting my friend request on FB. Looking forward to following your planning. We are hoping to be at WDW almost the exact same time you are- Dec 4th-9th. My dd10 cheers on a Pop Warner competition cheer squad and we are hoping to make it back to the National competition at WDW (WWoS, to be exact). We were there last year and came in 10th place! We won't know for sure if we are going until the day after Thanksgiving, after our Regional competition. But we are fundraising like mad and planning to be there! I am a planner and it drives me crazy because your room and tickets are prepackaged thru a deal between Pop Warner and Disney and there is little to nothing you can plan for ahead of time, so its not like a "regular" trip. But, it is a trip to WDW and we are hoping to be there!

Yum, those treats look delicious! :lovestruc

Awww, the pic of Olivia snuggled up under her blanket is adorable! She is such a cutie!!

I love the one of her all snuggled up under the blanket on the bed :) So cute!

Thanks! I love that one too! She is so cute when she sleeps, and of course I say that until I have to share a bed with her!

Welcome aboard! I'm so glad you are enjoying my little PTR! Good luck to your daughter! I think I would go totally crazy not knowing for sure if we were going, let alone not being able to plan!!!! :scared1:

The goodies were so yummy, I almost wish we would have taken some and stowed them in our bags! :rotfl:

Olivia loves that darn blanket! I made it for her just after our first Disney trip where she got a stuffed Minnie and fell in love with her! She also has a Cinderella blanket that I made that she uses every now and then, but Minnie is by far the best!

Hi guys! Sorry I have been MIA, Olivia misunderstood the idea of sharing and shared her yuck with me so I have been miserable for the last week! I am feeling much better now and I am working on what should be the last part of our TR w/in this PTR.

In other news:
**Disney on Ice was fantastic (I will do a little report on this over the weekend once I get the pics loaded).

**I did end up ordering Olivia another Cinderella dress just to be on the safe side, in case one gets wrecked at Halloween (she will need to wear it at least 3 different time for various Halloween events we go to).

**Olivia and I are having a girls day at Disney on October 2! There is a Moms Panel meet at Epcot that day and I got in to that, so I am super excited! We will get to see that parks with Halloween and Christmas decorations this year!

Off to finish my mini TR update!

Ok, so where did we leave off? Oh yeah! We were finally sleeping after our super busy day, with a plan of DHS in the morning.

I was of course the first one up at around 7:30, so I quietly got up and started to get myself ready and pack up. **On a side note, how could we have made such a big mess and have so much stuff?**

Olivia starting stirring and got out of bed a little after 8:00. She always wakes up super happy and full of energy, so she hopped on over to me and gave me a huge hug and asked if we were going to see Mickey again today  After she gave me some love, she jumped on Toby's bed and starting tugging at him, telling him to get up so we could go! I should mention that Toby is NOT a morning person! He prefers to lay around in bed for a while before getting up, so he was not happy Olivia wanted him up and dressed NOW!

After about 5 minutes Toby finally got up and hopped in the shower. I was happy about that because I could finally turn the lights on and finish packing up! In the time he was in the shower I was able to get Olivia ready and pack up everything else! Woohoo, go me! After he was ready we ate a quick breakfast of bananas and doughnuts that I had brought from home.

We were all up, ready to go and packed up by 9:00, so we headed down to the car (which was conveniently parked right on the way to the bus stop) to load everything up before heading to refill our mugs and hop on a DHS bus.
Here is my mini crew waiting for our bus (which took 30 minutes!!! Literally 5 Epcot buses came to an EMPTY Epcot stop!!!)

We finally made it to DHS at about 9:45 and it was pretty darn empty! We really had no plan at all for the morning, so we just started walking and ended up at the Great Movie Ride. I know this ride is not loved by all, but we like it. Toby and Olivia had never been on the cowboy version, so when we got to the attendant I asked if we could have it, and we were granted our request and told to go wait in row 1. Being in the first row I was able to get some pretty good pictures (but I won't bore your with too many of them, since I am sure you have all seen tons of them here on the DIS).

After the GMR, we headed towards Pixar Place to see about meeting Buzz and Woody since Olivia LOVES Toy Story! When we got there, it was a 30 minute wait! Umm, sorry we will pass (luckily we hadn't told Olivia the plan was to meet them, so she didn't realize she was missing out on anything). Across the way, near the entrance to Toy Story Mania (which was closed for a refurb) was a CM with hula hoops. Olivia was beyond excited to try one out! Let me just say, this was the most hysterical 5 minutes ever! She tried her hardest to figure out the whole hula hoop thing, but then gave up and was using it as a jump rope!
106.jpg

After Toby and I pried her away from the hula hoop, we walked towards the Streets of America and found the umbrella on the way. Olivia and Daddy had lots of fun here!
108.jpg

110.jpg

Once the "rain" had stopped we walked over to Luigi's Garage so Olivia could meet some new favorites: Lightning McQueen and Mater! Toby was fine with getting in these pics as well, "they were not wimpy and girlie characters" to quote him! While we were taking pictures, Lightning McQueen revved his engine and Olivia must have jumped about 3 feet in the air! It was hysterical!
111.jpg

113.jpg

After our meet and greet, we went off to another new adventure (at least for Toby and Olivia)...Muppets 3D! On our last trip, Olivia really loved the 3D shows so I knew she would love this one too (even though she has no idea who the Muppets are)! We had just missed a show, so we had to wait in the lobby for a while, and Olivia was enjoying the freedom to move around! I snapped a quick pic of my two favorite people before we headed in the theater.
116.jpg

Once the show ended (Olivia and Toby really liked it), we were planning on hopping a bus back to the hotel and grabbing the car and heading to DTD for lunch at WPE. Then we looked at the sky. It. Was. Black. Ok, so no lunch and shopping at DTD. We decided to just grab something at the resort and then head home. The rain managed to hold off until we got some cute pictures outside:

118.jpg

After the pictures, we headed inside to the food court to grab lunch. Olivia got the kids chicken nuggets meal, Toby got the double cheeseburger meal and I got the chicken tenders. I don't have any actual pics of the food looking all pretty, but these are the lunch pics that I do have. I know Olivia will kill me for these someday!
126.jpg

Not sure what the issue was with the exposure on this one, but I still love it!
128.jpg

Of course just as we were finishing up our lunch, the skies opened up and it started to POUR! Lucky for Olivia and I, Toby went to get the car and met us the the main entrance so we didn't have to get soaked! We were on the road back home by 1:15. By 1:20 this was Olivia:

And that, my friends, ends our quick mini getaway! I was so sad to leave so soon, but we made the most of our time and had a wonderful 1.5 days!

Except for the rain, that sounds like a really good day! :yay: I'm glad you guys had a good mini-trip! :cheer2:

It looks like you all had a great time! Sorry you missed DTD because of the rain but that can be added to Dec!! Yea!!

Bwahaha!! :lmao: Oh she's so going to get you back for THAT!

Woo hoo for your mini TR! I certainly hope I can just ask for the cowboy version of the GMR in Nov/Dec. I've yet to see it and last trip I was a little disenchanted with a female gangster. Just wasn't the same. :sad2:

LOVE Olivia standing in the zero of the 1950's sign!!

Can I sue Disney for discrimination. I would love to be on the Panel, but it's only for Mom's.

Loved the mini trip pics. Guess that is one good thing about living in Florida. I don't think I could deal with the heat in the summer.

We did have a great day! In a way I am kind of glad that it was rainy. It forced us to leave early enough so that we could get home and Toby could relax before he had to be at work at 6:30 the next morning. It was a great mini trip! I can't wait to go back in 2 weeks (just for the day)!

You are right, she is soooo going to get me for that one!

I would definitely ask for the cowboy version! I think it is by far the better of the two! The female gangster doesn't do it for me either.

That is one of my favorite pictures as well, it really shows just how HUGE the numbers are. The look on her face was great too. She was totally in awe of the size!

Looks like a fun day at DHS! Olivia is just so cute!!! :lovestruc I'm glad she liked Muppets 3D, it's one of my favorites! That's too bad it started to pour, but at least you're going back soon! :cool1:

LOL! No! Don't sue Disney! It's just called the Moms Panel, there are dads on it as well! You should definitely try next year (since the application process is over for this year)!

Being so close to Disney is the ONLY good thing about living in Florida! I can't stand the heat and humidity and lack of seasons! My dream would be to move back to Milwaukee one day!

It was a very fun day at the Studios! Although we didn't do a ton of stuff, just about everything we did was new (to Toby and Olivia)! Thanks, we think she is pretty cute too (but I think we might be a bit biased)! Yeah, the rain really wasn't that big of an issue since we get to go a lot! I can't wait until December when we have more time to hit everything that we love!

Day 1: Sunday December 5

I will have the car packed up the night before (with the exception of the toiletries and food), so all we need to do is get ourselves ready!

~7:00-Wake up for all of us
*My goal is that in 45 minutes we will eat breakfast, get ready, make one final sweep of the house and be all ready to go by 7:45.

~8:00- We should be pulling out of the driveway by now- at the latest (but really my goal is 7:45)

~9:30/9:45- Since it is a Sunday, traffic shouldn't be too bad and we should be seeing this by 9:30!
008.jpg

~9:30/10:00- Check-in I have requested a 4th floor room in the 50s building 1 facing the pool so I will not be doing online check in because I feel like I have better luck with requests when I do normal check-in. I am really hoping our room is ready so we can at least get everything out of the car and into the room so we don't have to worry about it later.

~10:30- We will be at the bus stop waiting for a bus to Animal Kingdom!

~11:00- The goal is to arrive by 11:00, hop off the bus and see this:
da4d9d9e.jpg

~11:00-1:15
*Tricera Top Spin (we have never done this)
ts.jpg

*Finding Nemo The Musical
Florida16.jpg

*Maharaja Jungle Trek

*It's Tough to Be a Bug/Tree of Life
Disney9-09179.jpg

~1:30- Lunch at Yak & Yeti
AK005.jpg

~3:00- We should be done with lunch before this, but I am planning on 3:00 just to be safe. With our full bellies we will head to:
*Kilamanjaro Safari
SDC10719.jpg

*Rafiki's Planet Watch
IMG_0148.jpg

*Festival of the Lion King (our FAVORITE)
192.jpg

~I think the Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade is at 4:15, which would work great since we haven't seen it (or any parade at AK) and we need start heading out. If that is the case, we would try to find a spot as close to the entrance as possible.

~5:00- We will head out of AK now, catch a bus back to Pop, and hopefully arrive by 5:30ish

~5:30-6:30- Get showered and ready to go to our splurge dinner of the trip!

~6:45- Bus to MK then monorail or walk to the Contemporary.

~7:30- Arrive for dinner at
Day6CaliforniaGrill.jpg

*I am super excited about this meal! I have wanted to eat here for a long time! I am really hoping we can see this:
CaliGrill-45-Wishes.jpg

~10:00- We should be leaving California Grill by now and heading to MK to catch a bus back to Pop and hopefully arrive there by 10:45.

~11:30- Bedtime! I think we will definitely be ready for bed by now! This ends our first day in the World!

Looking at your pics makes me realize how much of AK I missed in 2007. We went there after I drove straight through the night before. We will be seeing much more of it this year.

There really is SO much to see at AK! Just walking around the trails surrounding the Tree of Life and really looking at everything could take hours! Another favorite of ours is Rafiki's Planet watch! There is so much to see and do there! Our AK day is short this year since it is arrival day, but I don't think we will have an issue seeing what we want to since it is a slower time of year, if not, there is always next time!

Great first day plans!!!! I wish I lived as close a you, at least we are flying so it won't take too much longer to get there

Your first day looks awesome! I miss living in Orlando and being able to go all the time :( I literally lived right up I-4 and was about 20 minutes away by car. Of course I didn't HAVE a car, which is why I lost my job there, but that's another story...

:teeth:

That looks a fun action packed first day! I love both Nemo and Lion King. I am not sure if I could pick a favorite!
