Loosen your belt buckle-We're doing Deluxe Dining!Our 12/10 PTR!Update 12/18 TR Start

so when is Olivia's bday? my son turns 3 on Oct 30th!!! we already had his party (with his cousin- joint one in sept), but we will do soemthign fun on the acutal day too. i hope Olivia is over her cold soon and that you guys have fun at the pumpkin/fall festival!

Olivia's bday is November 11. I think it is pretty neat that she will always have the day off of school on her birthday since it is a holiday (Veteran's Day). This day is also really special because it is the day my grandpa (who was like my dad, since my dad was never really part of my life) passed away. On Nov 10 in the evening when they told me that they would be taking me in for an emergency C-section b/c I was beyond sick (my kidneys had totally shut down, and my BP was sky high, and my liver was shutting down as well), I told them that I refused for them to take me to surgery until after midnight, so she could be born on the 11th. The 11th was the day that my grandpa who was really like my dad since our dad was out of the picture had passed away in 1999. I knew that if she could be born on the 11th that he would be her guardian angel since she would be a preemie (her due date was Dec 31). At first they thought I was kidding, but then they quickly realized that I was serious and granted my wish and I wheeled to the OR just after midnight, and Olivia was born at 12:55am on November 11.

I'm not sure what we are doing on her actual birthday. We might head to Busch Gardens or Sea World with my SIL and nieces and nephew since we all have season passes to both places. My mom had also mentioned something about possibly going to Disney for the day, but we are really unsure.

I am thinking Olivia will be 100% by tomorrow. She is already back to being a chatter box and running around like a lunatic, and is talking non-stop about the animals we will see and the pumpkins!

I saw the pics on FB of Will's party, it looked like a nice time! I think it is funny that so many of the Dec PTR's I am following have kids that either just turned 3 or about to turn 3!

Good luck with the party planning!! Gavin just turned 3 last month. They grow so quickly, don't they?

I understand about letting the PTR slide. There are tons of times in the past few weeks that mine has just slipped away from me. I am a nose-y one and like to stay on top of what everyone else is doing! :lmao:

I am glad Olivia is feeling better! I hope you had a great time at the fall festival today!

That is such a special story about Olivia's birth! It brought a tear to my eye!

I'm glad that Olivia is feeling better. We all have been under the weather in our house, and I know how hard it is to have a sick toddler! What a great "girl's day" at WDW. She was a trooper to be awake that long and be well behaved!

I honestly believe how quickly 3 years has passed! It seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant!

I feel so bad when I get behind on my PTR as well as the others I follow! I always read them, but then I just feel overwhelmed with trying to respond to all of them! I don't know how all the people with full time jobs outside of the house keep up! :rotfl:

Enjoy the party planning! And the pumpkin patch stuff today! That sounds like fun :)

Thanks! We had a great time at the Pumpkin Festival. I am working on uploading my pics to photobucket and I will put a couple up soon.

Thank you! We had a fabulous time! I just wish it would have been a bit cooler outside to really make it feel like fall. Darn this Florida heat!

Aww, thanks! Her birth was really quite a spectacle. I was SO sick that I don't remember most of it, and my DH was so frazzled and scared that he forgot to take the camera into the OR, so I have no pics of the delivery and right after she was born. I am just glad that she did and is doing so well despite being so tiny.

glad to see DD is doing better!! Can't wait for more trip plans/schedules!!

I'm glad she is better too, a sick kiddo is never fun! The bad part is that she passed it on to me, which is a shock since I rarely pick anything up from her. I am hoping to have my next day plans up before you get back!! Have fun!

Tell me about it, a sick kiddo is never any fun! This time she managed to pass it on to me, so I was not a happy mommy either! Especially since she was feeling better by then, and was back to her rambunctious self when I just wanted calm and quiet! Our girls day was SO much fun! I can't wait to do it again! We are really lucky in the fact that Olivia is really good when we are out in public and we have only had a few times where she has had a meltdown.

yes, his party was great!! i know, it is so much fun to keep up with you guys, on the PTR nad also on FB!!!;)

As of this morning.....WE ARE PAID!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid the last $66.50 this morning, and boy oh boy does it feel good!!

I can't believe that we only have about 6.5 weeks left! Olivia is getting really excited to be a princess like Cinderella at the BBB! She keeps begging me to watch BBB videos on Youtube.

I am thinking these last 45 days will either fly by or drag by. I am really hoping for fly by! It shouldn't be too bad. Between Halloween, Olivia's birthday and planning for that, getting ready for her ballet recital, Thanksgiving, and life in general, we should be pretty busy.

YAAAA!!!! Doing the happy dance for you! Doesn't it just make the whole trip seem so much more real?!?

We don't. We get behind, then scramble to catch up in a day. Get busy again, lose track of everybodies comings and goings, then scramble to catch up in a day.

Great to see you are paid off. Since I didn't book a package I don't have to pay off the resorts until the day I show up. Gives me more time to earn Disney Dollars on my CC to offset the price of the trip. I think I'm up to $918.

Ok Erin...just found your post...Howdy Neighbor. Grew up in Bradenton, live in Palmetto and work at a church in Bradenton. What school did you teach at? My kids are your age 25 and 28. Both went to Manatee High and both still live in Manatee County...son in Palmetto with us and my DD with her husband in Parrish. This is so cool to know that there is a Disboard member along with my daughter and I in Manatee County. Check out her pretrip report...Paulson/Marello do the F&W fest or something along those lines. Talk to you soon.

How awesome!!! You are paid off!! Our money is due on the 27th. Realizing that we will miss eachother by one day  We check in on the 11th.

Yay! That is so exciting! Paid in full is really a great feeling! :thumbsup2 I can't believe your trip is getting so close!

:yay: That's so great that you guys are all paid off!

Yes it is!!! I am SO excited!

:hyper: :jumping1: :hyper: :jumping1: :hyper:

Woo hoo!!!!

My thoughts exactly!! :hyper: :jumping1: :hyper: :jumping1:

CONGRATS!!!!!! let's hope for fly by!!!;):wizard:

Thanks! I am definitely hoping for fly by! So far these past 5 days have sped by!

YAAAA!!!! Doing the happy dance for you! Doesn't it just make the whole trip seem so much more real?!?

Thanks for dancing for me! It really does make it seem much more real and "for sure"! There was a couple of tense weeks when my DHs boss said he might not be able to get the time off after all (even though he put his time off request in in March)! We just found out last week that he would be able to get the time off for sure! It was a MAJOR relief to say the least!!!

Just wanted to stop by before I leave for WDW tomorrow, but that's great that you are paid!!!!!

Thank you! Hope you had a great trip!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Thanks!!! Your trip is getting mighty close too! Woo Hoo for you!!

Thanks for the explanation of how you guys do it (or don't do it:confused3)!

Wow! $918 in rewards dollars?!?! That is impressive!! I am definitely a package lady. It is just so nice knowing that everything (except for tips) is already paid for when we get there. Plus, it gives me the time between being paid off and the trip to put money on Disney gift cards to pay for everything while we are at Disney.

Hi! How funny that we are neighbors! I have lived in Bradenton since I was 7 and went to Southeast. I work at a church too! Well, I work in the nursery on Wednesday's and Sunday's during service. It is really great to know that there are other DIS board members in this area! I will definitely hop over to your daughters PTR!

I'm SO sad that we will be missing each other! We were originally going to stay until the 11th or 12th, but Olivia's ballet recital is the 11th and our church's HUGE Christmas show that Olivia is in starts on the 4th (but we will be missing the shows on the 5th and 8th), so we really can't stay longer.

Yay! That is so exciting! Paid in full is really a great feeling! :thumbsup2 I can't believe your trip is getting so close!

Being paid is the best feeling ever!!!! I can't believe how close we are either! 40 days from today!!!
