love all the trip updates! so glad you got to get her in to see the princesses and she interacted this time!!

you reminded me about the GAC card, I think we are going to ask for one for my mom on this DL trip - she is almost blind (brain tumor) and has a real issue seeing (might have her in a wheelchair, walking with her cane is hard in crowds as she is new at it)- at least maybe it could help her sit up front for a few of the shows. Like you, we don't want to use it beyond what we would really actually need it for.

I would say definitely get the GAC! It has been a huge lifesaver for us at times. We got ours for a couple of reasons. I am a type 1 diabetic and sometimes the heat really messes with my blood sugars and I need a place to sit down or just wait in the a/c. My DH also has major problems with ankles (he was born with club feet and has had multiple surgeries on them), so the standing for long periods of time gets to him. Funnily, the walking doesn't bother him at all, it's when he stops!

I'm loving the updated mini-trip report update! The pictures are cute.....I want to start my own PTR but you can't post pictures until you have 10 posts. I'm still a newbie so....I've got to get 5 more in! Then I'll hopefully, get one going this weekend. I really like the picture of you and Olivia in the shark.

Oh, and I caved and went to the online disney store! I actually restrained myself, but there are three things I'm going to go back and get. I opened a Chase Checking account and got the Disney Rewards debit card. So, I'll wait until I get it and then use it for my purchase to get dollar for dollar reward credit! Woohoo...

I also booked the Ohana breakfast for December 9th at 8:10. Is that one you have been to....is it good? My dad really wants to go there....so, we added it to the trip!

Glad you are enjoying the mini TR! It makes it easier to write knowing that people actually like it! Can't wait for you to start your own PTR! If you want, just post 4 more goofy posts on here. One post for each number, it's the way I did it so I could post pics, links and have the ability to private message.

We must be thinking alike! I got the email from the Disney Store with the free shipping code and I caved too! I was really good though, I only bought 1 shirt for Olivia. It was on clearance for $7.99 and that is the only reason I gave in and bought it. I will post pictures when it comes. How great that you got the Disney Rewards card! I wish our bank would let us switch to the Disney rewards card! We don't have any credit cards so we would bank tons of points since we only use the debit card!

Yeah for Ohana! That is actually about the only character breakfast that we have not been to, but I have heard amazing things about it. I don't think I have talked to anyone who didn't like it, many people say it was their favorite character breakfast! Too bad you can't/weren't going later! We will be there the same morning at 9:30! I am super excited about it! Olivia loves Lilo and Stitch and who doesn't love Mickey?

Thank you! We think that our little princess is pretty cute too! The Castle Couture shop is definitely any little girls dream store!

I don't even want to talk about humidity! It does this to my hair: I'm hoping we have an early "winter" here, not that Florida ever has a true winter!

My family lives mostly in Milwaukee with my mom's side of the family living in a little town near Jefferson, about an hour from Milwaukee. I really love it up there, and I am really trying to talk Toby into moving up there sometime.

My vote is for a cruise in February, but I've always wanted to go on a cruise so I'm biased! Plus I hate cold weather!

Hmmm...I would try to find a really cheap Cinderella dress on Ebay or something just to be on the safe side. Little kids can wreak havoc on pretty outfits, especially on Halloween when there's lots of candy involved!

Yeah, another future Pixie Duster!!! I agree, there is no such thing as too much Pixie Dust (unless you ask my hubby, he can't stand the stuff! Mostly because it lingers for weeks after she gets it done!

The MMC is the Mickey Mom's Club. It is for all of the people who applied to be on the Mom's Panel but didn't make it. I should have that post up tomorrow (my hubby was actually off for 3 days in a row and since he works so much we like to spend lots of family time together when he is home, so that means my DIS time suffers!)!

I'll mark one in the cruise section! I am still really undecided! Just can't decide what I want to do! They both have great pros and about the same number of cons.

LOL!!! Now that you mention it, I can picture Olivia wanting to go overboard too! My hubby wasn't interested in it at first either, but I talked him in to it, and he says he would like to go!

It is so nice when the people around, understand that sometimes kids are just silly! And she sure was acting silly!

I couldn't believe the size of the sandwich! It was a fairly good deal for the sandwich with the potato salad and drink it was about $9.

I am super excited for DOI! We went in May to DOI:Let's Celebrate and we loved it! I think after this show I might break down and take Olivia ice skating. She begged to go after the last one, and I am thinking she will do the same thing again! I'm thinking the same thing about the dress. I would just hate for it to get ruined!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Olivia has been sick...again!! She has the yucky URI/sinus infection. I am trying to get her feeling better since we have Disney on Ice this Saturday!

Back to the TR within a PTR!

When I left off we were heading back towards World Showcase for the MMC party!

We got to the location right at 8:00 and made our way inside to find a table. We found one in the back with another family already there, so we asked if we could join them. They were nice enough to allow our crazy litte group to sit down. As soon as we sat down Toby's mind was on food! When we got situated I went and grabbed drinks (coke for Toby, diet coke for me and water for Livy). Next up.....ICE CREAM!!! They had every singe type of ice cream/popsicle sold in the parks. I am a fan of the Mickey head ice cream sandwiches so I grabbed those for all of us. I realized after I gave Olivia hers that I am a horrible Mom.....Olivia had NEVER had any type of Mickey ice cream before! In all of the trips we have taken, we have never got her one! Let's just say she thoroughly enjoyed it!

I only let her have a little bit because she is lactose intollerant and more than little bit upsets her stomach. Have no fear, after the ice cream she moved on to this:

I LOVE the look on her face!!!

Since we were on vacation, who was I to say no to a popsicle too?

Umm......

*** I should say that, NO she did not eat the whole rice crispy treat or the whole popsicle!!! I am not that bad!***

After some nice chatting, a few of the current Moms Panelist members came up on the stage and introduced themselves and then it was announced that the applications for this years Moms Panel were opening on September 13!!! Woo Hoo! A few minutes after that they told to begin to make our way out to the lagoon and the special viewing area for Illuminations. On the way out, we were given swag bags:

We walked over to the viewing area and watched the beginning of the show so Olivia could see some fireworks, but the we decided to head out and try to beat the crowds to the bus. The plan was to head back to the resort, grab a snack and hit the pool for a bit. On the way out I snapped a quick pic of SSE:

After a quick bus ride we were back at the Pop and grabbed a snack and headed back to the room. We got a plate of breadsticks that were amazing! The sauce was great too!

Then I couldn't help but take this pic:

When we got to the room I went to wash up and change into my bathing suit for some pool time. I walked out of the bathroom and saw this:

I guess swimming was not going to happen! Back to the bathroom I went to put my pj's on. When I was all ready for bed I had my breadsticks and then got Olivia's pj's on as well. After her jammies were on she got a tiny bit of a second wind:

Thankfully her second wind was pretty short live because it was getting late1 Toby was lucky enough to get his own bed while I was forced to share with my child (who I am convinced turns into an octopus at night). They were asleep by 11:30 and I drifted off around 12:00.

The plan for the next day was DHS and then heading home in the early afternoon. Would we be successful? Would it rain again or would we be lucky and stay dry?
