City Walk looks like fun! My boys would be all over the NBA store!

Yeah the boys looked around. There was no one in there when we were there. We had the place to ourselves.

Yum! Your dinner at Margaritaville looks delicious!

It was very good Jackie & the atmosphere was so fun & of course the music. I wanted to get a shirt in the gift shop but never did.

Wow my second update in 2 days!! I guess since I am home on sick leave I have more time.

After eating we walked around Citywalk. It is hopping at night time that's for sure! I am so mad because I took a lot of pics with my phone & when we got home my phone died & they could not recapture any of my pics so they are all lost. Most of the pics I took of HRH were also on my phone. Note to self "Download your pictures right away when you get home".

We had been up at 3:00 am that morning so after walking around for a bit we went back to HRH & took showers & went to bed.

Our plan for the morning was to be at Harry Potter by 7:30.

I think we had a wake up call for around 6:45. We got dressed & headed down to one of the breakfast places in HRH. Sorry I do not remember the name right now. We had some muffins & headed back out to IOA. It is a beautiful walk from the hotel..

So we headed right to HP. I was a little worried about the motion that I had heard so much about but the four of us had no problems at all. We are not HP fans but the theming was absolutely amazing & the ride was really good.

After riding HP we had to try the infamous Butter Beer. YUM!! It was a hot day & we got the frozen ones. I was not sure how sweet it was so Jeff & I shared one.

After HP we headed back to ride Hulk again (a few times) then walked around. Here is Cody hamming it up:

We had lunch around 12:00 at Thunder Falls. It was really good & they have seating outside. We then started to head out as we were getting picked up at HRH around 2:30 to head to POFQ.

And today 10/1 is a great day: Happy 40th Birthday MK!!!!

Hi Anita. Yes it was a lot of fun. The butter beer was really good!! I was afraid it would be too sweet but I could have drank one all by myself.

Your trip is so close!! I would love some pics while you are there. I will probably be home recovering from a hospital stay so it would really make my day if you get a chance. Plus I lost your phone # when my phone died so I need it again.
I am hoping that this hospital stay will work very quickly as we are supposed to leave on the 26th of this month for our very first F&W & MNSSHP!! I am praying we will get there!!!

Hi Doreen !!I have been sooo busy the last few weeks I have not been keeping up on The Dis !!Awesome pix of Universal. Carol and I have been promised a Free Trip to Universal next year and Mythos was definately on my radar to eat. The atmosphere looks soooo interesting !!!

Sorry...we were in Disney World when you did you last two updates. Love the CityWalk photos and your Universal Day photos with Harry Potter, etc.

We've not been to CityWalk since probably 2007 and really need to get back there (we'll skip Universal as we aren't HP fans and there isn't enough to keep our interests as we aren't the big "thrill" ride lovers as we've gotten older).

Connor will love it there. As much as I love Disney it was a lot of fun to see something new. I would recommend it!!

Thank you Amy. I have been in the hospital since Monday but have been having a really bad flare up for over 2 weeks now but am on the mend. I will be busting outta here tomorrow!! I HAVE to get better as we leave for F&W in 18 days!!!!

I posted on your TR today. We will be leaving the same day as you for our April trip.

I am anxious to here how you like Harry Potter. I think you your boys will be loving it!!

We really liked Mythos (well except for the piece of hair in Cody's sandwich) The rest of the food was excellent & the atmosphere was really cool. I find it a lot of fun to try new places. I am anxious to see how you like it.

Citywalk is fun!!. We had not been since 1999 so it had been a whole long time!

So far we still love those thrill rides but not sure quite how much longer.

I don't blame Mark for being leery. Some of those rides can do a job on your neck! Better to stay away from them.

Ok what better way to recuperate from a hospital stay than to update my TR...

I left off where we were ending our time at IOA. They have some great shops there & here are some of the pics of all the great things for sale;

I did not go crazy as I love my Disney clothes but I did buy a T Shirt & a bracelet. Souvie pics will be at the end of the TR.

So we headed back to HRH to wait for our ride to my beloved Disney & POFQ.

We got there about 3:30 & our room was ready. I had requested building 5 3rd floor & we got it! And we got a view of the hottub!!!

Once I did my "cleaning ritual" by wiping down every single thing that we may touch (I am a germ freak) since getting very sick down there in 2006-we headed to......

Star Tours had just reopened & we could not wait to try it out. Of course where it was late afternoon there was a wait but we were in no hurry so we got in line

I do not remember the exact wait time but it was like 20-25 min. The heat got to me a little it while waiting in line. This New England blood & all.. but soon we were inside

I am not a Star Wars fan so I cannot even tell you who we had during the ride (I know bad bad me). DH & my boys could tell you but no one is here to ask. It was a great ride though & we did go back for another ride at some point during the trip.

Great update. We walked right on to Star Tours when we were there a couple of weeks ago. And, to be honest, I couldn't tell you who we had either.

It looks as if you got a great view at POFQ.

I am getting better. Eight years ago I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis & I just went through my worst flare up ever. I was in the hospital for a week while I got steriods through IV. Now I am home on sick leave & BORED so I will probably be updating like CRAZY Which is a good thing since I have neglected this poor report & now I don't remember what we did when but I have notes so that's a good thing.

Sure I can be there by 8:00. As you can see it is 7:22 & I am up. I so wish I was closer. I would be there!!

That's ok. I would rather be just bored than really sick & bored. Getting over the sick part & I will suck up the bored part. Most of my life I am so not bored & way too busy so I guess I should enjoy it while I can. Plus I get to follow along on a certain someone's TR in a few days!!

I hope you have the most amazing time & I will be sitting here traveling right along with you.

They do have some cool souvenirs but some expensive ones.

The rooms at POFQ are so nice now. I hope we get a refurbed room at POR in 2 weeks!! We requested Magnolia Bend & not sure if they are done or not. I am just so happy that we will be getting away that at this point as long as I have any room in any resort I will be as happy as a clam soaking on the beach.

I have never been to City Walk. We really need to get over there some time. We went to a Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach and loved it. They have some great margartias!

No the butter beer does not taste like beer AT ALL. I do not know why they call it that. I do not like beer. It tastes like a butterscotch caramel type of drink. Not sure how to describe it but it is sooo good!!

We absolutely love POFQ. Our favorite mod. Of course we have only stayed at one other mod (Carribbean Beach) but we just love it at POFQ. Small & quiet with the boat to DTD. I cannot say enough good things about it.
