It has been many years since we have been to Universal. I remember ET being a cute ride, and I liked Back to the Future. I would like to do Jurassic Park, since I have seen those movies. I think it probably will be when the girls are quite a bit older and get into the big coaster craze that we'll go back there again.

I started out about 3 this morning, so maybe I will be able to fall asleep and get 2-3 hours of sleep tonight before we head out. I would be happy if I could sleep in the car right along with the girls and wake up about 5 hours down the road!

Welcome!! So glad to have you here. Thanks about Ryan. We have been blessed with a great son. We actually have 2 great sons.

I will do another update sometime this weekend. Right now I am doing housework but took a break to check a few things.

Hi everyone. I am so sorry I have been MIA & neglected this TR but we were on vacation this past week. It was more of a staycation & it felt great to relax. We worked in the yard a lot & here are some pics I took over the past week. I know it doesn't have anything to do with our Disney trip but this is what has been keeping me off the computer...

We have about 3 chipmunks in our yard & here is one of them...

A lot of this (except for the front yard) was done over the weekend last weekend then on Monday we went to York Beach in Maine. It is about 45 minutes from where we live...

On Friday night we went to Portsmouth NH to Prescott Park. It is right on the harbor in Portsmouth & every summer they have plays. This year it is The Wizard of Oz. Last year was Peter Pan. It was a beautiful night with a full moon..

So we had a great week of vacation. Beautiful weather & some time spent in our pool. We bought these tiki torches which remind me of the Poly..

So needless to say I have not had much time to Dis but will get back with the program this week.

I know we have several chipmunks in our yard too - we have the chipmunk holes to prove it! I wish we could see the cute little guys playing but I haven't really noticed them around.

Thanks Kathy. I love the Mickey also but not too happy that the paint is coming off!! I have two of them & they are both doing the same thing.

Oh my gosh our "chippies" as I call them run around here all day long. I see them most on weekends when I can relax on the back porch.

Hi Anita!! Glad you found me. I went looking to see if you had a new TR started but could not find anything. That's when I found Tim and Leslie's new TR. Do you have a new TR?? I know MeMom mentioned seeing your new fish for your classroom. Boy Lesley sure has me wanting to go on a cruise now!!

The Disney vacations are always wonderful but NEVER relaxing so it is nice to have a relaxing vacation once in a while. You do need to take some relaxing time for yourself once in a while Rosie. You are so good you always have people on vacation with you that need you but that is a wonderful thing that you do Rosie.

I love my Mickey Gnomes (I have one in the front & one in the back yard) but they are chipping paint badly & they are only 3 years old. I had them shipped here when I purchased them at F&GF.

ok I am going to do a quick update while on my lunch hour. I left off that we were entering Jurassic Park. We walked to the River Adventure but it was down so we headed over to Harry Potter to ride Dragon Challenge. This is two coasters that go at the same time & they twist, loop & nearly collide (this is the words from the Universal brochure). There is the blue side (Ice) & the red side (fire).

Now once again I had to put my hipster in a locker. It said you could use it for one ride. But I figured how would they know if I rode once or twice as long as I was back by 20 minutes. So were rode the blue one & it was great!!! There are loops, twists, turns & barrel rolls!!! After riding Hulk I was not too afraid of this one. It did not take long with the wonderful front of the line passes so we went on again to try the red side to see which one was faster or how different they were. At that moment we thought the red side was better (faster). So I went to get my hipster out of the locker & it would not open. I had to pay $3.00 to get my hipster out. It had not been 20 min. but that was the only way to get my bag back so I paid the $3.00. Then it was time for lunch at......

MYTHOS.

Have to get back to work but will continue this on the weekend....

I have one that is about 2 years old and he is chipping away too. I don't want to say I am "glad" to hear yours is too, but it did save me from buying another one on our upcoming trip. I assumed that my son had gotten too close to it with the weed-whacker and caused the damage. While he is innocent of this, my old flower pots were not so lucky. They were plastic ones, and now they have "racing stripes" all over the fronts of them.

As big of a pain as he can be - he does take care of the mowing. My oldest son you had to threaten him before he would do it then he would do a sloppy job. Once the youngest one was "deemed old enough" to do it he was all over it! I figured once he got older he would get bored with it and start slacking off, but he mows our yard and three others in town. Plus his best friend's dad will take Mark with him when he goes to mow some of the yards he does (parents, in-laws.....) when he is pressed for time. It gives him a little extra spending money.
