Loops, Twists, Turns & Bieber?? New TR started

On Friday night we went to Portsmouth NH to Prescott Park. It is right on the harbor in Portsmouth & every summer they have plays. This year it is The Wizard of Oz. Last year was Peter Pan. It was a beautiful night with a full moon..

Fun! I enjoy plays and all kinds of shows.

As big of a pain as he can be - he does take care of the mowing. My oldest son you had to threaten him before he would do it then he would do a sloppy job. Once the youngest one was "deemed old enough" to do it he was all over it! I figured once he got older he would get bored with it and start slacking off, but he mows our yard and three others in town. Plus his best friend's dad will take Mark with him when he goes to mow some of the yards he does (parents, in-laws.....) when he is pressed for time. It gives him a little extra spending money.

That is great that he does that & if he can make some money that's even better!

How odd about the lockers! I wonder how it knows???

That's what I was wondering. I just didn't get it. Needless to say I wore shorts with lots of pockets the next day!

I love plays & shows too. I was involved in Drama in high school (many years ago) & had the lead role in my senior play. I love going to them.

I love my tiki torches. They look very cute by the pool.

The coasters were so much fun!!

We got a lot of rain & some wind. We lost power for 9 hours but some around here lost it for days!! How was it where you are?

I am so sorry it has been so long since my last update. Summers are so short around here & I spend a lot of it out in my yard when I am not working. We also went through something with my dad & to make a LONG story short my sister & I had to place him in assisted living last month so we have been dealing with that. Hopefully it will be good for him there & my sister & I will be visiting him again this coming weekend. So where did I leave the TR so long ago..

We had lunch at Mythos...

It has been so long I do not remember what I had!! But I do remember it being good! I remember Ryan having the Salmon because he said it was the best salmon he has ever had!! (And he eats salmon a lot)!! The only bad part was that Cody had a hair in his sandwich!! He was almost done eating it at that point.

Here is a pic of Ryan "presenting" the food. He is making fun of his mother taking pictures of all the food-this will not be the last time that he & Cody make fun of me..

Jeff & I did not have dessert. I thought it was very good there & it was not that busy considering it was lunch time.

After we ate we went back to HRH because our room was ready. All the pictures I took of inside the HRH were on my phone camera & that phone died a few months ago & they could not get anything off my sim card so no pictures of inside HRH!!

Our room was nice but the view was not. We overlooked a roof. No view what soever but it did not matter as we were there for 1 night & not in the room except to sleep. Once we put our luggage in the room we went down to the pool & I did get some pics of the pool..

It felt great. My DH & I thought we would get a beverage while sitting there. I decided on a frozen strawberry daiquiri & DH got a beer. Well I almost went into sticker shock...$22.75. Granted mine came in a "plastic" souvenir glass but still. I really enjoyed that drink!! I said to my DH "I guess that will be the first & last drink we get here". Cody came down with us & sat by the pool. Ryan stayed in the room. When we were done we got dressed & headed back to IOA. Again we rode Hulk & walked around.

Just saw your update !!!We are thinking of eating at Mythos when we go on our FREE trip next year !!I am gonna ask for either late April/early May or September and the other will be Disney !!Carol has really wanted to do Universal soooo I agreed !!I am on a list for doing a cruise too although that might not be next year as they are the most popular trips with the escorts !!!Of course my first choice is a Disney Cruise , but the gal who wants to go with me says we'll take any cruise !!!

I have to get over there on your TR. I hope it was a good vacation!! You should have a good time at Universal. There are some fun things there..oh ya no coasters for you though.

I would LOVE to go on a cruise sometime. DH is not too fond of the thought though.

Yes Citywalk is fun. It always seems to be hopping. I could have spent lots of money in that store that sells all of the VB stuff! Good thing the boys were outside waiting for me.

Hi Kathy. I have to get caught up on your TR also. It was more expensive at Universal than Disney. Even souvies were more at HRH than other Disney resorts.

We had dinner reservations here for 6:30

We had a small wait to get in but it was a really fun place to eat.

I had the Mahi Mahi. It was very good.

The volcano erupts every so often. It is really neat & very nice atmosphere in there. Glad we ate there & would recommend it.
