I've been searching for a new printer, but there are SO MANY and I'm completely overwhelmed. I really only need it for basic printing (mostly coupons). I would like it to be able to scan and copy. DH would like a built-in FAX for work stuff, but isn't a dealer breaker if it doesn't have it.
Is it better to get a printer that has separate color ink cartridges? When my old printer ran out of say cyan, I'd have to replace the entire color cartridge even though I knew there was plenty of magenta and yellow left. But is it cheaper to buy them separately? I would think so, but who knows.
Does anyone have a decent printer that doesn't break the bank when you need to buy new ink?
