It seems that all I've been reading are negative reviews of fp+ but I wanted to share some positives! My trip is not until June 29th but April 30th at midnight, I was able to get Fast Passes for every day of my trip sitting in my pajamas in the comfort of my home.

I am not a rope drop person as my kids and I stay until the park closes so it's hard to get up so early when the park closes at midnight or 1 am. So I very rarely got to get fast passes for Soarin or Toy Story Mania and if I did, it would have been much later in the day. So now, I have 3 sets of fast passes for the Seven Dwarves Mine Train and 2 sets to go see Anna and Elsa. I love the fact that if we decide to not use the extra sets, we can make last minute changes.

Also, one day when we are going to BB, I was able to get three fast passes for Epcot for in the evening including Illumination Fast Passes where before these fast passes would have been gone before I ever got to the park.

So instead of worrying about that we only get 3, I plan on making the best of the 3 we get! Of course there are some glitches like the website today, but i finally got it to work and now I'm set. 58 days to go!!

I will say, I do feel a sense of calm knowing that I can reserve a fast pass for 7DMT and not worry about standing in a huge line.

and before the greek chorus chimes in, yes I know it's all dependent on if the
system is working that day. :rotfl:

Me too. I didn't mind running right to the ride we wanted, but I didn't like not knowing what time we'd get and whether we'd be available or still in the park at that time. This gives me less stress, actually.

We are not rope drop people either. We rarely got three fastpasses in the old days. Now, I've got three for each day, before I even get there. So far, I'm liking it. Got 7 dwarfs, could've gotten the frozen characters if I wanted to. No issues with the website, etc.

I love your positive attitude and I wish it were contagious! I get bummed always reading about the negative views of FP+. I like it too, it has really grown on me. I was afraid that at Epcot it would be a downer but we made it work. I am a fan!

Maybe the people who can't seem to let go of legacy fast pass are just looking for closure.

Perhaps a funeral for legacy fast pass. And at the same time we can say goodbye to the old Test Track, the chicken skewers at Ohana, heck all of Polynesian Village, Spectromagic, and throw in Kouzzina in case the closing of it is making anyone sad.

I still miss the Eastern Airlines If You Had Wings ride. :rotfl:

;)

Now I can't get that song out of my head!!!

Sorry, here, see if this helps...

It's a world of laughter a world of ...... ;)

Actually, a friend once told me if I ever have a song stuck in my head, sing Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues to get rid of it. It works! :rotfl::rotfl:

(that makes me seem old, I'm only 40 :lmao:)

Having just returned from WDW here is my review of new FP system. If you can reserve in advance then it can be okay...if you are not staying on property then people seemed more anxious. (Talked to lots of people in line who didn't have the ability to previously book rides and were not happy about standing in really long lines at the kiosk to get reservations). The legacy system spit out tickets and moved people quickly...the new FP kiosk let people stand there for eternity looking at options A, B, or C plus the best match and then deciding. Some folks took 10 min to decide !

Both systems had plus and minuses and the new system has work arounds if you know how to use them !

We just returned on Monday and FP+ worked perfect for us. We stayed on property and were able to schedule in advance, but decided to change plans for Sunday and on Saturday night, from my phone, I did just that. I was even able to get a FP+ for Soarin at 1:20pm. This was great because with teenagers, legacy FP's for Soarin were always gone by the time we got to the parks around lunch time.

I will say that for the people that use the kiosks because they are staying off property or are adding additional FP+ after using their alloted three, there are kiosks all over the parks and the ones close to the entrances had lines and the other ones did not.
