Looking for salad dressing recipe........

It flabergasts' me when Rachael Ray can make homemade salad dressing. Does anyone have any recipes you want to share for salad dressings and also marinades???

Sure...go to Walmart...purchase Kraft Ranch...JK!

Here are a couple:

Ranch Dressing

NY ranch style buttermilk dressing or mix the following until smooth:
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dill weed
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. onion powder
(1/4 cup buttermilk may be used instead)

Oil & Vinegar

3/4 c. acceptable vegetable oil
1/4 c. cider, red wine, balsamic or tarragon vinegar
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

For a slightly different taste, add any of the following combinations:
1/8 teaspoon paprika or dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon basil, tarragon or other salad herbs
1/4 teaspoon oregano and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch curry powder
Few grains red pepper, cayenne or a dash of hot pepper sauce

I remember one episode she mixed pickle relish and EVOO.......voila, instant salad dressing!!!

I never know what to marinate my steaks in......

Sorry I can't give measurements, but I can give you the ingredients that my mom used for her homemade dressing.

Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Vinegar

When I make it, I usually just eye it then take a taste to see if I need to add more of an ingredient or not.

I seriously use olive oil, balsomic vinegar, salt, & pepper....people always love it
